Re: Christian Believers Guild -- OPEN
Tell me about it That's one reason I'm the go-to Scripture person in my youth group. I tend to absorb knowledge like a sponge, and I've had some good teachers.

A tiny man would tell a little joke and get a tiny laugh from all the folks.
Sitting drifting around in bubbles and thinking it was us that carried them
when we finally got it figured out that we had truly missed the boat"

Do you attend church?: Yes.
How long have you been a Christian?: Wellll... I guess I'd have to say four years or so? It's not like I was only just exposed then, though; I was raised a Christian. I was just in an odd situation. :tard:
Favorite Bible verse?: I either do not read the Bible enough or do not remember verses well enough.
Anything you want to tell us?: ...Um... I guess not?

Re: Christian Believers Guild -- OPEN
Welcome, Paleo! I was raised Christian, too.
Fae, I admit it is hard to read His Word everyday. In my youth group, we're encouraged to read in the mornings, so it affects us all day, but I tend to go sleep no earlier than midnight, and get up at 5:30. Reading in the mornings, though I try to, is very hard for me.

I completely understand that, GamingGal. I also understand the benefits to starting one's day with the Word. But, I also tend to read more at night, when everyone's gone to bed and it's quiet. At the end of the day I give thanks, reflect on what's happened, read the Word for guidance and sometimes just sit quietly and wait.GamingGal wrote:Fae, I admit it is hard to read His Word everyday. I might start reading at night, but I forget half the time. You know how they say it takes a month to form a habit and a few days to break it, yeah, that's me. Accountability is something I need, I guess you could say.

Re: Christian Believers Guild -- OPEN
Who all would like a baby of the lineage? I'm trying to figure out how many times I absolutely need to breed them right now before I start the next lineage. I'm planning on doing a few different ones.
Edit: Sorry if I don't comment on the religious related stuff. I'm not a religious person, and I tend to avoid religious stuff. Beyond that, I don't actually know much of the Word aside from what my mother has shown me - and that has always been the stuff that turns me aside from Christianity. Not to mention, like GamingGal, I have been wronged by many a greedy churchgoer, and that too, has turned me aside.
I still intend to show my support though.

Re: Christian Believers Guild -- OPEN
Send the family over to me, Kt. I'll take care of it. I think things have settled enough in my life for me to handle it. If you need help with any other lineages you plan on creating, lemme know.
We enjoy the support
And a friend of mine was wronged by Christians as well. The hypocrites. However, she told me she admits she was wrong about us Christians and that she must have met the wrong people. I was happy.

I think I met the wrong people too because I met some of the right people, and I absolutely adore them. They help us a lot... but nonetheless. It takes more than that for me to get through a deep set grudge against greedy hypocrites.

If you want to hear some good stuff from good people, try that podcast link I have in one of the first posts. Those people are who inspired my friend to say that. They're great.
