Are we allowed to make an auction with more then one winner - like that nursey event.
Such as 1st place winner, second and third.
-ughr, difficlt to explain.

I've seen quite a few of these... and haven't seen the Mods close any of them for multiple prizes. I'm quite curious about the rules regarding such myself.

Is there somewhere we can go to get some sort of.... Tutorial on how to run an auction. I have a few things I'd like to get the best possible price for and I'm not sure at all how an auction works or how the winner is determined.

best possible price? check the "how much is it worth" thread, determine what the SB should be. Learn the market, IDK. you want x-amount of gold, use a quicksale insted
Think of how much you want to get, but don't go too high.
Short auctions-not many people will see
LONG auctions-people loose track of
I'd go a week at most if you want it pretty quickly ^^
winner, last person to bid before it's over :tard:
last person the minute the auction is over.
ex:
ending time: 9 PM EST
then whoever has the last bid with the timestamp
9:00 PM in EST, of course, is the winner.
Change how the time is displayed somewhere on the user control panel so you see minutes, not x minutes ago
