I would be interested in the games if they had something to do with the storyline of the site. games that are only somewhat related in terms of theme and are only used for gaining gold really don't appeal to me that much, and in my opinion wouldn't be a good thing for the site.

Also not really into the concept of a battle system... I'm not quite sure how that would work, anyways. @_@ I always thought of Magi to be peaceful, anyways, so unless the battle system is there for some war between brotherhoods, guilds or something along those lines, it may not make sense to me? And battle systems are typically rather complex. I may be too dumb to use them. >_>;

Just to make that clear, this vote has nothing to do with a battle system at all. That is only an example for another feature flash games could be used in. This vote will have no effect on whether a battle system is implemented or not, we might do another vote for that.

i voted yes to them.... i personally think they would be great and have actually been thinking of the idea of a magistream with flash games for a little while now. and battle system would be awesome! like Dark magi Vs Light magi! and perhaps there could be games that give a special egg to people that get a high score and we could win gold..... in my opinion it would be perfect!!!

I wouldn't mind flash games at all, especially if they're tied into quests. Though the only reason I voted for 'in any way you can' is because I would play them for entertainment value too, so I'd like to access the games whenever I can and not just once when I'm doing a quest. Perhaps a repeatable quest...? Or you can gather items like herbs from the game and be able to do stuff with them.

Though I'm with the people who don't want gold given out through games. That would ruin what I like about this site. You actually have to join and post in the forums to get gold. owo

I would likely have voted with a reserved yes had the battle system option already been removed when I voted, despite my dislike for Flash. However, I think it's very difficult to give an absolute 'yes' or 'no' opinion on the matter without something along the lines of a sample game, for people to try so that they might formulate their response from a more educated foundation.

In other words, I'd like a trial run.

I'm going to have to vote no.

I have nothing against flash (or similar program) games on their own, however unless the team here is very creative in implementing them they will not have much benefit. I do think you guys are very creative and probably would find a very good way to use a game, but to be safe, I'm going to assume they will be like games on other sites, for example Gaia or Exhibited (a little-known breeding sim that's actually not fully working right now).

From purely a personal standpoint, I've noticed that on the sites I mentioned above, among others, I'm not active on their forums at all because the minigames are more entertaining than interacting with other users. If MagiStream had games, I most likely would never have used the forum at all. If games are put in, and some of the people new to the site are a little like me, they will find the games and never speak to anyone on here. There would be a lot less community interaction, and the community interaction is one of my favorite things about this site.

I had more to say, but I can't remember it. I will edit it in later if I remember.
