Hello everyone,

due to various real life issues, several artists have become inactive over the last months. To keep up with our release schedule and make sure we have something new for our users regularly, we are therefore actively looking for new artists to add to our team.

Can you do digital art? Would you like to work with the MS team? Do you want to see your creatures be available on the site? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

What we are mostly looking for are pixel artists, capable of spriting new creatures for the site. However, we'd also like to increase the number of creatures with side art, so other digital artists are welcome to apply.
To do so, please make a post in the Artist Application Thread. Make sure to include samples of your work. Even if you have applied in the past, please do so again; we want to see your recent art so we have an idea of your current skill level.

We will go through the applications on the first days of March. That means that you have until the end of February to submit your application.

Though not to worry, the application thread will remain open, and applications can be posted later as well. We will go through applications posted after February occasionally.

Thank you to everyone who has applied so far; we've already started reviewing your applications and discussing options, but nothing is set in stone yet, so please keep applying.

However, there is one thing I need to clarify:
We are looking for people who can do their own art from scratch. Recoloring someone else's artwork, tracing existing artwork or overlaying photos with filters to make them appear drawn is not what we want you to do. It's plagiarism and thus against our rules.
