I've never met him here or anywhere else but, rest in peace, Talie.

I am in shock and tears. I suspected he might be ill, but not THAT ill.

Well, his suffering is over now. My condolences to his RL family and friends.

He was a fine staff member and a great friend. I do regret that I never had the chance to meet with him in person. Despite this, our PM correspondence was plentiful on a lot of topics, both on MS and dealing with RL issues. Yes, it's true that he had a great sense of humor. He also had more than enough patience with me when, IMHO, it was necessary.

He was also great at getting to the point in his writings, a skill that I am still trying to master (as you can see.

Tali was also my main source for buying "extra" Donis each month (for gold). As a result I have been able to give away and/or sell so many cheaply to other Magi who otherwise might not have any (a practice that he fully approved of). I am sure he got a lot of pleasure knowing his creatures found good homes. (I hope to continue this...somehow.)

Goodbye, Tali, my friend. I'll remember you forever. May you find happiness--and a LOT of ferrets (and other critters)--whereever your gentle soul is now.

Even though I never talked to him directly, I saw him around and always thought him a kind-hearted perspn. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

I am devastated to hear this. MS, my home on the wide, wide interwebs, will never be the same without him. He's been a presence here since the beginning, and he's definitely left big shoes to fill.

Gonna go cry now. This isn't right.

Tali was such a sweetheart. So sad to hear this.

My heart hurts. Tali was a genuinely good person; kind, generous, and hilarious. He inspired me to continue writing and there are stories I would have never completed if not for knowing that he would read and enjoy them. Our talks got me through some bad times and I'll forever be grateful to him for putting up with my rants and giving my sarcasm right back to me. Wherever he is now, I hope it's full of ferrets and big bearded lumberjacks.
