I am in shock and tears. I suspected he might be ill, but not THAT ill.
Well, his suffering is over now. My condolences to his RL family and friends.
He was a fine staff member and
a great friend. I do regret that I never had the chance to meet with him in person. Despite this, our PM correspondence was plentiful on a lot of topics, both on MS and dealing with RL issues. Yes, it's true that he had a great sense of humor. He also had more than enough patience with me when, IMHO, it was necessary.
He was also great at getting to the point in his writings, a skill that I am still trying to master (as you can see.
Tali was also my main source for buying "extra" Donis each month (for gold). As a result I have been able to give away and/or sell so many cheaply to other Magi who otherwise might not have any (a practice that he fully approved of). I am sure he got a lot of pleasure knowing his creatures found good homes. (I hope to continue this...somehow.)
Goodbye, Tali, my friend. I'll remember you forever. May you find happiness--and a LOT of ferrets (and other critters)--whereever your gentle soul is now.
