Magistream downtime Oct 8th - Oct 9th

Magistream was down from approximately October 8th 11:50PM(ish) EDT until October 9th 5:20AM(ish) EDT.
The downtime happened at the prime time of me being asleep, hence the length of the downtime and lack of information on the social networks. In any case we're now back up!
The downtime still has some residual effects on the forums, and you will notice that there will be messages marked as unread that you have already read much earlier. I'm hoping you can all bear with this, as if I were to change it so that the messages weren't marked as new, I'd have to mark every post as read. That would mean you wouldn't be able to see the proper new replies to your posts as unread either.
I'm checking everything else to make sure everything's running as it should. If you encounter any weird issues, please report them in the Report site errors here thread.
