Danafox wrote: The bump button also should be placed in a much easier to find location, such as next to the Full Editor button/Submit buttons when you are going to make a post, and in addition should be the same size as those two buttons (obviously make the bump button appear when its available and disappear when its not). It will be much easier to see as an actual button instead of a tiny miniscule link at the very bottom that at least for someone like me, I barely notice/ignore the very bottom of the forum so I can easily miss it entirely.

My 2 coppers worth.
I don't know if that sort of coding is even possible though. Where the 'bump' button is may be where it's coded to be and they have no control over where it goes.

Um, after you use the bump button on a topic...
if you don't navigate away, instead of taking you back to view the topic, it says "You cannot bump this topic so soon after the last post."
Is that on purpose?

Done =)
Same.
Thanks. At the moment, it looks to me like bumping doesn't quite work as intended at the moment. I'll have to ask Tristan to look at the coding behind it and see whether my suspicions are true. For now, bumping by posting once a day will be permitted again until we figure out a solution.

The kinks have been worked out and the bump button is now working properly. To alleviate some of the complaining, the bump interval has been reduced to 20 hours, meaning a topic can be bumped 20 hours after the last post (or the last bump if there haven't been any posts in the meantime).

Wow, perfecto! 20 hours sounds great, and there is no need to worry about missing a day any longer ^_^ Thank you! <3

I don't want to complain about this because it seems like you've worked hard on this button.
When I bump a topic, it shows the last post being at that time. For example, in my shop, the last post was actually made on March 27th, 1:06a.m (thanks for letting me bump it now, by the way, because I wouldn't have been able to without the change of intervals!). However, now it says she posted at 10:10p.m., which is false. I mean, it's seemingly minor, but... I don't know. I would have liked to see the bump not affect the previous post.

Yes. As to what CF has said, when I bumped my topic it said the last post which was made by a different user over 20hours before, was now "less than a minute ago"
