DDOSing does literally NOTHING to help show where security hiccups are. All it is is sending a server a SHITLOAD of requests in a very short amount of time to overload its resources, basically. You can have the most up-to-date and aggressive security measures and a DDOS can still take your site down if the DDOS attack is powerful enough.ZII BoA Geist wrote:Some big time companies actually hire hackers to break down their sites and systems to help them find where the weaknesses are. It's probably the same person, although I can't imagine who would want to attack an adoptables site and an IRC network.

So is anyone else having problems with their images? Several of my pets aren't showing up at all, or are replaced with other images - my Wyverns are a black and white hospital-looking photo!

The only image issues I'm having are the fact that the Direcore egg has not changed to the hatchling-the embedded image in my sig, not the keep image-despite having been hatched since last night and half way grown up.
And it is not my computer since other people verified seeing it as an egg, plus it shows up as an egg when I post the URL in the MS chat.

I've also noticed other Direcore hatchlings, posted in the Waynal, showing up as eggs.
