I cant donate to the site sadly my money stays in my pocekt because of a child and bills to pay and food to keep my child and my mouth feed until I get money again. As much as I would like to donate I cannot

Any donation using the donate button is equal to sending money directly to MS. The shards are just an added bonus and no one forces you to spend them.
