Due to the ever increasing amount of pygmy gemdragons Remy is now making it easier to obtain breeding stock for them. You can buy a maximum of 2 Rewin Dragons from Remy's Inn at 15000 gold each.

Another change to family pages:

Earlier when you clicked on the "edit" button on your family page, the description field always got emptied, so if you e.g. updated a crest you would always have to remember to copy and paste your lineage description or it would vanish.

I've now made a change that when you edit your lineage, the existing description appears in the text box, ready for editing and no need to copy and paste it anymore to make it stay on the lineage page when editing the crest. ^.^

A couple changes have been made to the breeding view.

-If you breed a family progenitor, then only mate that will show up on the breeding view is the other progenitor. Earlier all theoretically possible mates got listed.
-If you breed a family member, other members of the same family won't show up as possible mates anymore.
-If you breed a creature with limited breedings, those members of the species whose breedings have been used up no longer appear on the list of possible mates.

The following clarification has just been added to the Rules of Conduct:

The following things constitute botting:
  • Any program or other way to automate parts of the site. This specifically includes clicking eggs, stream catching, freezing and releasing creatures, but also anything else not explicitly mentioned. Multilinks and the close-it script, as well as similar extensions are not subject to this rule and are legal to use.
  • Any way that allows you to click a creature more than once for growth, like programs that change your IP between clicks.
  • Using more than three different links to tweet your creature. To be on the safe side, it is recommended to use a direct link to your creature as well as the bit.ly link provided by the twitter button as two of your three links.
It is allowed to post the same link on twitter multiple times. Please note that any modification to a link counts as a new link, even if you use the same link shortener again.

Lineage pages now show the owner information along with creator information. If both of the family's progenitors are owned by the same person, the owner information is shown under the creator information.

There is also a page that lists all Magistream families over here: Magistream Families list. Please note that it may take a while for the families page to load, and filtering to take place, as there are over 15000 families on Magistream at the moment.

When mass moving creatures, the species list and tab list are now in alphabetical order instead of the tabs being in the order you've put them in, and the creatures being in the order their species appears in the tab.

In the future there will be an option you can select that allows you to switch from the alphabetical order back to the old order and vice versa.

---

Creatures that cannot be released no longer have the release link visible on the Keep view.

Lineaged creatures haven't been able to be released for a while now. They will become releasable again later on.

For those of you in the Europe, remember that daylight saving time ended for you a week ago. If you want your time on MS to be reflected accurately, you'll need to change it.

For those of you in the US (except for Hawaii and most of Arizona) and Canada, remember that daylight saving time ended last night. If you want your time on MS to be reflected accurately, you'll need to change it.

To change your DST time preferences go to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences and choose "No" from "Summer Time/DST is in effect" selection.

You can also always see the official Magistream time at the bottom right of each page.
