As many people probably have already noticed, the Merchant District has been removed from the Magi Life category and set up as an independent section. Along with that change, the former main section of the MD has been split into three new forums, for LTS, LTB and raffles,contests and giveaways respectively.
If you had a thread in the MD main section, it should have been moved to its respective new section by now.
We have decided on colorful names for the new sections, but the forum description will tell you quite straightforward what a specific forum is for. I'm sure you will get used to the new names quickly.
Should you be unsure where a thread of yours should go, feel free to contact me or any of the MD moderators.

Unfortunately, any link you had to your thread in your signature, profile, or anywhere else will have to be updated to reflect the change in forums. That also goes for threads in the Shop (now renamed "Mercado"), Auction House and Daycare forums, since moving a forum changes the url, even if the rest remains unchanged. I will happily assist in locating a lost thread should you have problems finding it again.

To go with these changes, the MD rules have been revised and streamlined a bit, but mainly to reflect the split. The main contents stay unchanged. A link to the MD rules can be found at the top of each MD forum.

I'd like to thank all moderators for the input that went into the change and also for the help in moving more than 80 pages of threads to the new sections.


Edit: In light of the new changes, I decided to have everyone who was temporarily banned from the old MD get a new start and be allowed to access the new MD immediately. Please don't make me regret it.

And sifting through 80 pages of threads must be a pain-you guys rock!

I like the change, to separate stuff so if you're wanting to buy, you don't have to wade through "sell me stuff" threads and raffles.

However, I don't like the names. They're weird. It doesn't seem like a good idea to me to have something you have to explain what it is because the name doesn't tell you right off. I'd much rather something simpler, more obvious. But, oh, well.

Its so much easier to look thru stuff now! thanks for all the work
