You've got some good work so far! My favorite would have to be that Pikachu at the bottom. The dark outline really defines it well. It's great to see that you've chosen dynamic poses in each of these pieces too. The sense of action or movement is nice. Experimentation with GIFs such as the first one is also a bonus. I like where you're going with the shading, especially on the second one. The reddish-brown garment under the gold plating has a nice highlight on the back area.
That being said, here are a few suggestions: For the Pikachu, the only thing I'd suggest would be to do a little extra shading on the back leg (the one on the other side of the body) to add some depth to that area. When I draw, I find it helpful to make an arrow or an orb where my light source is coming from. Additionally, the second one could benefit from some extra shading around the lower garment and the helmet/head area. Don't be afraid to try colors you wouldn't expect! If you'd like, check out this thing about color palettes. The artist uses yellows to highlight a green treetop and a blue to shade it rather than a lighter or darker green.
Lastly, I highly encourage you to try out some dithering as I think it could be a great match for your art style. Dithering can add not only some really cool gradient effects, but you can make it work for textures too.
Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! It means alot! Would adding a complimentary color help with the shading? To make it more dynamic? Also, I will try dithering!Lady wrote:You've got some good work so far!
