anyone know how to layer clip things in sai?

It depends on what you mean by that- if you mean so you can only draw (well it only shows up) on whatever you've drawn underneath, then use clipping layers. Make a new layer, and then turn on clipping. Second on is if you just want to draw on the same layer (with the same effect) then use preserve opacity. Note: if you decide to use clipping layers, make sure the layer directly below it(or below the stream of clipping layers if there's multiple) is the one you want to have as a base. If you want to draw inside the lines, simply use the magic want tool to select and then bucket. Make sure the settings are right(I use transparency strict and transp diff on 0)
