How it works:
Each person must post a mash for the person above them to draw. The person who gets a mash must then draw that mash.
For example:
Person 1 posts the mash "acid + cockatiel"
Person 2 who posts after person 1 posts the mash "peacock x leopard"
Person 1 must then do the mash "peacock x leopard"
This is so you get a random mash and don't get to pick which one you want to do.
What is a mash? A mash is two creatures (example: orca + eel OR gryphon + cobra). One of the creatures can be a recognized mythical creature. OR a mash can be a modifier + creature (example: molten + cobra OR steampunk + gryphon). The creature can be a recognized mythical creature or MagiStream creature.
Rules:
1. If you post, you're also signing up for the challenge because the person who posts below you will mash two words together for you.
2. You retain the rights to whatever you draw. This is a drawing exercise, not a request area. This means that even if you post a mash, when the artist makes that mash you may NOT use it without their explicit permission.
3. You may post/sign-up again after you've completed your first challenge. Do not ask for a second challenge if you have not completed your first.
4. You may take the results of this exercise to whatever sort of finish you like. A sketch, pixel art, full color, CG, physical media, 3D model, whatever!
5. You may mash two animals or an animal and a modifier. You may not mash two modifiers, as it does not describe a creature.
6. You may not use any modifiers or creatures that could be inappropriate
7. Please post the name of the person who is getting your mash, to avoid confusion. So, if the last person to give a mash was me, then you would post: "To Lazuli: something + something"
8. This thread is now ONLY for exchanging mashes. Please use the guild thread to post your images, comments, etc. The only thing I should see here is "To (name): something + something"
