Really lovely work. The amount of detail makes it a real treat to look at since every time I look at them I see something different. I especially love number 8, though that's cause I love fish.
I would suggest rotating some of the pictures so that we'd have a clearer view of things. Also have you ever thought of working with color? It could be interesting with your kind of art and I heard that coloring things in general is also therapeutic. :3

Really beautiful! I used to do abstract sort of drawings, but never anything as detailed as your drawings. if you condensed them they'd make for great tattoo designs :3 Or you could just draw on people.

Re: Anxiety Art Series
They made me think of beauty in chaos, number 4 especially. They were all extremely well done and very detailed.

Re: Anxiety Art Series
I loved no. 2, the iris shape of it made me think of the way music "blooms" in my head when I listen to instrumental pieces.
3 actually looks really unfinished to me, for some reason. Not sure why?
If you made #4 into coasters I'd totally buy a bunch, actually -something about it makes me think of an ocean scene, and I keep turning my head to look at it in different angles, and coming back to it.
6 is strangely comforting. It looks like a giant comfy hat you could crawl under and curl up in, and when things got to be too much, anyway, there's a nice vent in the top to blow off steam through...
7 makes me hungry. (Sorry, I've not the faintest hint how you give someone feedback they can actually use, so I'm just saying what strikes me about various ones, and... yeah. No idea why, but 7 makes me feel hungry)
8, again, reminds me of the ocean, this time the deeper underwater sections, where there are few denizens, but the ones who live down there all have remarkable, deceptively powerful abilities. They have to, just to survive, and they can flash out of nowhere and then disappear on you again. It'd be really neat, animated...
9 reminds me of how I feel after a very long day of being outside, getting so very tired, physically, and kind of mentally numb, and then you realize it's over and you're almost home and can rest but it's still so far away, at the same time, because you're not actually there yet.
10 is just creepy, it looks like a predatory head about to eat me (that's not meant in a bad way!)
So yeah... if you turn the fourth pics into coasters and sell them, will you pm me a link to the store?

Re: Anxiety Art Series
@Crone If I do make coasters you'll be the first to know ha.
I'm going to share a little more just for fun. These started out with no one in my family listening or noticing me and if you look closely the first few have hidden eyes, ears, and hearts. Almost like no one was hearing or seeing what I was feeling. Most of my problems were with my mom and as I tried to break free you see more wings in the series. There was also a lot of confusion while doing these and you can sort of tell by how jam packed the details are. The block details (not sure how else to describe them) actually represent my OCD and trying to make sense of what I can control.
Number 8 was where major change in my life happened. I finished that 2 days after I moved out (Was working on it longer, while my mom was out of town.) My therapist noticed a lot of space, like the fish can actually breath in their environment. I has less of the pressure from my mom and felt a lot more relaxed. Again 9 has a lot more space.
Number 10 is a little more harsh. That entire week I had been trying to get to the house and get more of my stuff and my mom kept making it ridiculously difficult and impossible, trying to control me and make me feel guilty for taking up her time. I saw an eagle that looks very judging and harsh, almost like it's about to attack prey. That would be the KILL THEM part. If you look in the middle near the jaw line there is a small swirl detail which is my happy and relaxed symbol and that was the last detail I drew. Like I was choosing to be happy no matter what, hence the KINDNESS part.
The last one is about my dad. My therapist and I were trying an experiment and she wanted my feelings on my dad since I'm a daddy's girl. To me it looks a lot more raw and sketchy, not nearly as finished as the others, so I'm curious what she'll say. I gave this one it's title and then had a dream about it. In the dream the words: SAD LOVE kept swirling into the picture and when I woke up and studied it I found something amazing and surprising. If you look carefully at the right side of the water drop, next to the swirls, the abstract looks like the word SAD going across (you may need to turn the computer a little) Right next to it the word LOVE runs down the side. I find this incredibly interesting. See if you can find it.
Thanks to all for the feed back, you are giving me some wonderful ideas and thoughts.

I've had a couple panic attacks and they are not fun. I feel for you because I know how you feel. It's realy sacry when I had my first panic attack: I had got a stick in my eye but I can still see! If you ever wanna talk just pm me! And when you have your panic attack try to get a grip on the world around you. Take a deep breath and let it out. Someone's I'll hold my breath then let it out. Sometimes I'll say aloud: " this is real. And I'm breathing." even thoug sometimes I'm not breathig.

Re: Anxiety Art Series
I love them all, but my particular favorite is #2. I'm not sure why, but it's the one image I keep coming back to after looking through all of them.
I simply adore tribal art, and you have really made some remarkable pieces here. That fact that you say these are representations of your feelings gives me (and likely others) a deeper insight into you as a person and your life. Well done, Peaches! You are such a talented person.

Re: Anxiety Art Series
...Well. Let me begin.
1~
This reminded me of a ribbon. It's beautiful, and the clear lines and details are just gorgeous. Honestly it reminded me of a ribbon, and when I first saw it for some reason I was reminded of a butterfly... I don't exactly know why.
2~
Again gorgeous. It kept me staring, trying to figure out what I thought of it. I was reminded of music, rising from something, but I didn't know how to place my finger on it. So I looked at the title-- a heart, yes! Anyway, it's beautiful and sad in a mysterious way. Hard to explain.
3~
Reminds me of my mind. LOL anyway, yes, it's very true to the title, and is vaguely shaped like an eye. It's very nice. It also reminds me of my own mind (as mentioned above) because I feel my thoughts are scattered and all over the place, detailed and bold. It's hard to explain, but it got me thinking.
4~
I stared and didn't know what to think, so I started studying the fine details. They really are exquisite, just like all your other pictures. Still, I don't know what else to think of it-- it's just detailed and bold-looking, but doesn't remind me of anything specific.
5~
...Reminds me of... plants? O_e Not exactly sure why, but it reminds me of what a plant would look like we could see its... uh... soul. I don't know how else to explain it. It's really beautiful, and gave me a sense of nature in a more exotic way. Dunno why.
6~
It made me think of something depressing for some strange reason. It looks like a butterfly wing to me, but since there's no main body, the instant thought of life slipping away crossed my mind. A butterfly's wings are vital to them-- otherwise, they couldn't fly, and... it's hard to describe, but it made me think of something sad, like a love lost-- whether it's a person they love or a thing they love doing. But that's just me...?
7~
I'm not sure what to think. ; Nothing specific came to my mind, and I only saw a rectangle-like shape. Upon focusing on smaller details, I was reminded of a condensed ribbon with all kinds of patterns on it-- but I'm not sure what to make of those either. O_e Sorry.
8~
I dunno. I just see something abstract. I see representations of life and perhaps love, and representations of sadness. It's literally impossible to describe why-- it just reminded me of that for reasons I'll never know. I took most notice of the thing that looks like an eye top-ish left, though I'm not sure what it really is...
9~
...I'm reminded of a butterfly, falling down, with the earth close below it. Again, I'm not sure why. ._. Anyway, it's as if the butterfly seems calm about falling, as if it knows it can just spread its wings again and fly. It's hard to explain, but really quite... happy to me. I'm not exactly sure how my description fits with the title though. O_e
10~
...Why does this remind me of a dragon? For some reason, I can see a tribal person's interpretation of a dragon. It's beautiful and detailed (as always) but it just reminds me of a dragon. Nothing else really came to mind-- no symbolism, representations... just a dragon. Again, I dunno why LOL
11~
Just as your title states, it reminds me of sad love. Such as unrequited love or lost love... something similar to that. The shape is like that of a tear, and the details inside remind me of memories of happiness. Not sure why, but the basic patterns just represent joy-- as if wonderful memories were crushed and turned into a tear. OwO
All in all, very nice art, detailed, and gives off a lot of different impressions to a lot of different people. It's very versatile art, and I like it because it's subtle-- people can interpret what they want from it, instead of being forced to think or register something in their brain. It's a nice change.
