^^ Little one for the forums. ^^
Bigger one here:

I vectored over my sketchy lineart so it's all crispy and delicious now. Didn't do that with the first GR pic...I actually think I like it better without the vector linework though.
So, it's GypsyRaven again. The first one was paid for
(with a 2011 Purple Crystalwing), but this one is FREE! Even though she dropped off the face of the planet and don't talk to me no more because she embarrassed herself.
I still...treasure...our last conversation and think back on it fondly.
I almost gave up on this one! It was so plagued with problems I was about ready to just delete the thing and be done with it. My comp got hit with TWO "clusters" of viruses while making this. I had paused work to look around on the interweb and stupid SQUIBY had an ad that triggered my java and BAM...7 viruses (2 of which were trojans). Took forever to sort out my comp and lost a day and a half of work but finally got my comp back to normal.
I got hit with another massive cluster f-uhh virus (heh heh) while search on google and/ bing, and my comp found 25 different infestations with that one. I thought I was going to have to buy a new comp! I hate those hijacker viruses. Meh!
THEN, I was working on the pic during a storm. -STUPID, I know- Power flickers off and on a couple times and my comp goes out. The file gets corrupted and I lose EVERYTHING...just about. I found a PSD repair thingie and managed to get back a few layers, but most importantly, my line art layer was mostly intact. Had it not been, I wouldn't have even tried to finish this.
Lastly, I installed a new art program -coughthanksathcough- but my comp didn't have enough memory to run it. Damn. No big deal, I'll pick some more memory up! I find a big sale, but it's web only...so I have to wait for shipping. Damn again. Ah well, I'll use ol' trusty PS 7.0 in the meantime! But it won't work anymore! Noooo! The new art program had over written some of the stuff and it wouldn't operate without it. *sigh!* I'll just reinstall it...where's the CD? Oh, there it is! Oh hell, where's the serial number!? It should be on the CD!! I tore my room apart looking for it and by some rare occurance of purely dumb luck, I found it!
I re-install PS 7.0 and it works fine now, and I order more RAM so I will have yummy new proggie soon...and then we all lived happily ever after.
THE END
