Anyway I could get some help with Matters of the Heart I
I don't know where I would find this info: Perhaps you know which one of these creatures is not found in these mountains?
I was able to take one of the choices out but I can't narrow it down more than that, even though I keep looking again and again.

Could I maybe borrow a pegasus, nimbii, or kaetus breeding pair for the quest An Opportunity Abroad

And a Puvia breeding pair for the An Unexpected School? I'm buying the two Fox Vex Rays off of someone already.

I want to start working towards a lot of the different quests but I had to narrow down to one I wanted to focus on.

I can't recall the "Matters of the Heart" quest, it's been years since I did those, and I can't find the text anywhere. You likely have to scour through all the stories around the World locations to find the answer but maybe I remember it. Can you copy the exact message you get from the quest and paste it here?

I vaguely remember that one now. I have the answer too. If you would like to figure out the answer yourself, I suggest using the Bestiary - bestiary.php - find some of the mentioned creatures there and read their descriptions. You'll find which one isn't in the mountains that way.

There are no Alphyns in the mountains. They're named after the areas they come from: Voltarian Alphyn = Voltar; Etainian Alphyn = Etain desert; Silvan Alphyn = Silva Forest; Savannah Alphyn = the savannah.
