The Stray - An Original Story (Kinda discontinued-)

Introduction

Years ago, dogs and cats were being abandoned the most all around the city. They were usually dumped out of their home because the family couldn't afford the care they needed, or they no longer wanted it. You could see so many of them wandering down the alleys, scaveging for food, eating whatever seemed edible. It's quite sad, I know, but this story is about one stray in particular. She was never given a name before she was left to fend for herself on the streets, but maybe one day she would finally have a proper name. She was a 2 year old German Shepherd-Pitbull mix... her pattern was quite unique, as she was brownish tan with a white underside, white left paw, and the traditional black German Shepherd markings on her. Her eyes were crystal blue, quite stunning if you ask me. It was very surprising that nobody had picked her up off the side of the road yet, but considering the conditions of the streets, understandable. It seemed that she had given up hope on life at this point, as she didn't seem to be taking care of herself very well. She had a very low chance on ever being taken in by a family, but a much higher chance on being caught by the pound, and most likely put down. Luckily for her, she knows how to run very well, making it out of their reach just barley at times. She's gone quite skittish of people, as she's chased every time one lays eyes on her.

That's all the time I have for writing tonight aaaa I plan on finishing this off in the morning. Hope you like it so far. If you have any tips/suggestions, feel free to send them, as this is my first time writing publicly ^^

Continuing

Her usual days consisted of scavenging for food, being chased off by humans and other dogs, and seeking shelter for the cold dark nights. This was her life, and has been for 3 long years. But something was coming that would change her, and many other strays lives, hopefully for the better.

And that's the end of the introduction to this world! I should've posted it all at once but I was really tired that night and didn't feel like finishing it aa. Chapter 1 will be worked on and posted soon!
