The world is full of color
But I’m stuck in gray
Why can’t I be free from this torture
Why can’t I just get away

The feeling is deep inside me
It’s spreading like disease
Not knowing when it will take over
Not knowing when I will cease

Will I just live on
An empty face in the crowd
Will I never
Have my voice heard aloud
And maybe I don’t
Matter at all
And if I don’t then
Let me take the fall

I feel like a monster
Like I shouldn’t exist
Like a horrible person
And yet still I exist

Why can’t life just leave me
A final breath, a goodbye
Maybe it would be better
If I just withered and died
