...in the midst of the scuffle, as the creature landed on its feet, a shimmer of silver filled their retina. A weapon, brandished with dexterity and precision, with a leap forward and slit eyes trained, only to strike wall in a quick dodge! Yet...

She stared at Cottonflower in alarm, she was splattered with blood! Her gaze cut to her bloody hand for a moment, then at her shadow. A rather large dragon spread out on the ground-the shadow of it of course, but it was large enough to practically be alive on its own. She looked back at the dragon shifter, both alarmed but in awe as well. Its not everyday you meet a dragon, especially one with brilliant golden hair blowing in the wind-

The dragon's golden hair flowed like stream from which it came. The majestic creature spoke in a booming but gentle voice, "Hello, I am Goldensword the Great! I have conquered many a creature, and even a few humans, but something is different about you...something tells me I would fair much better following you than trying to kill you."

Kate swallowed some spit nervously before replying, "N-nice to meet you, Goldensword. My name is Kate." After saying that she fell silent, not sure what else she should say. Definetly not something about being a bunny shifter, the dragon might eat her. She glanced at the defeated dragon nervously, before glancing back at Goldensword. "You...you aren't going to hurt me, right?"

The dragon shook it's head. "No," it said it's voice not losing it's gentle touch "instead I will observe you." Kate was unsure of what it meant by this but something told her she should believe it.

"Alright then. But please stay outta sight, I don't think anyone at school will be happy to see a stranger following me." She checked her watch, then yelped in surprise. Kate grabbed her things, then ran off. If she didn't get to the gym fast enough, she would be late!

If only she had tried harder the times they had gym. Oh, well, that would be useless now. Trying to summon her rabbit’s speed, she ran!

For some reason, Goldensword was still following her. Kate would tell her to stop, but she was already getting tired. Plus, she was too nice to interrupt what the dragon was saying.

Kate got to the gym, albeit a little late. She was tired from running, but hoped she would have just enough strength to at least make through.
