I'll start things off with a little poem that I wrote:

~Song of the Black Jaguar~

Dark as night
With a heart of gold
Sleek as a role of silk
Light as a feather
And free like a bird
But I'm a jaguar


Mind
Full of imagination
Like a land of wonderful things
Like a generator
Of strategy and creativity
Except it's for a jaguar


Soul
Kind and good
Like beautiful embroidery on a black coat
Full of peace and quietness
Like a calm sea after a storm
That's inside a jaguar


Shelter
A place to be called home
With a leader that calls me its own
A source of comfort
A strong hold and protection
For a jaguar


Time
As fast as the cheetah
Who waits for no one
Worst killer
Man's enemy
The time of a jaguar


Hate
With a touch as cold as ice
A bitter separator of beings
Normal for some
A gift from man
To a aguar

Loud trumpet-like sound
Yelling so free
Belly so round
Running with glee
~
They run through the trees
The little ones play
They hear some loud bees
and stomp far far away
~
Family no where to be seen
See animals with two legs
Holding metal guns
"dont kill me" they beg
~
The small one shot down
Gets hit in the crown
The other one frowns
and cries like a clown
~
Collect the tusks
leave bodies there
left until dusk
then comes out the mayor
~
"This act was wrong,
Oh so very cruel
Animal abuse"
but still used fats as fuel
~

Knock knock
There's a woman
Who came knocking at my door

Knock knock
Now she's asking
If I'll let her in

Meow meow
Meet my kitties
All 15 of my babies

"Oh wow"
Says the lady
"Tell me all of their names, please"

There's Sorath
And there's Ash
And there's Onyx
And Lenes

There's Lucky
And there's Alex
And there's Daisy
And Ilbreen

There's Storm
And there's Dexton
And there's Angelo
And Shoji

There's Genji
And there's Miku
And there's Yuki
And me!

"But you're just a person
You aren't a cat.
I smile, and I laugh
And I take off my hat.

Freedom on the back of it
Flying while you ride it
Freedom defines it
Nothing can end it

Two large, soft eyes
A light that never dies

Four hard, strong feet
To carry the fleet

A well muscled body
To carry and heal the sickly

Quick and nimble

Strength in the stride

A head, well molded

A soul, quiet and kind

What is this creature I'm speaking about?
It's easy to guess, but of course!
The animal of whom gives me such freedom
Can only be described as horse.

The birds, oh how they sing
in the early morn of spring
Taking fanciful flight
dancing in delight
Oh the gladness they bring.

Cheering the sun with their song
begging it rise before long
for there is work to be done
oh joyous sun
let your light today be warm.

As they flit flutter and play
their joy seems to say
come outside to welcome spring
and all the beauty it brings
for no season is here to stay.

II'mm ...hic... wid my dragoon

Oh ggod, I've hhad tooo much ...hic... to drink...
Dish poem doeshn't even rhyme...

Humans

Humans are reckless rude and unkind,
an animal would think they have no mind.
They can communicate with you and me
but they are far far to blind to see
the treasures waiting in store
love, kindness and so much more.
So content to live a life of stress
'tis no wonder their mind is a mess.
