BLACK CAT POEM-

i purr
i nuzzle
i lick
i cuddle
i run
i leap
i play
i sleep
But if you think all that is an evil omen,
If you think all that is pure bad luck,
Then yes, you will endure great misfortune,
Because without me, life will suck.

ghost of the mountain, strongest of all i see, how did you become so free?
ghost of the mountain, fircest of all i know, it's no guess why your name is snow.
who are you?
magi on my mountain, strangest of all i've met, i am this free for i rule all i see.
magi on my mountain, kindest of all i know, i am leopard.
now, who are you?

Danger follows the Hippo
Although outside a giant marshmallow
On the inside is an instinct
To wreak havoc on everything
Death with one single blow

Then, there comes the crocodilians
Armed with a toothy grin
Though they may seem great friends
Expect a gruesome end
For they prove to be one happy sin

Next we dogs, lions, rhinos,
Armed with large fangs and large horns
To stick in those
Who don't seem to know
That invasion of personal space brings on war

More dangerous, still, is the mosquito
In each a bite of evil
One single nip
and your whole life will trip
One needle-prick ends with a kill

So many creatures, from apes to lizards, and more
Can bring about such destruction and war
But the worst of the animals, oh can't you tell?
Is a species we all know so very well.

A species that includes
both you and I
Isn't it obvious?
It's a woman and guy

A human is the species that the world should hate most
If we only fixed things that we passionately broke

You run over snow
Your breath hangs in the wind
Your footprints you leave to impress

You're covered in think shaggy fur
From your head to your toe
You seem very elegantly dressed

Two golden eyes peering from the front
And a nose flat, black, wet and cold

Your ears flick back and forth
Th dried blood on your mouth
You show yourself, with poise great and bold

You shake the snow stuck between your thick coat
And raise your nose to the sky

A far away call echoes into your ears
And to the heavens your howl will fly

Majesty and beauty
Wrapped in a package
Screaming "Look, but don't touch"

As you stand and look back
Then leave with your pack
I can't help but feel my heart race a great bunch

Guess this animal!
