The sun shines, summer
The air hot, always
You look up, wondering
When does it all end?

Water boiling outside
Forests burning
What shall we do? - you decide

It doesn't mean anything
if you say it without meaning

if you treat us like we aren't something

Lost in the dark,
we look for anything

Royalty is merely found by family
A lottery of birth
Yet bloodline define's one's character rarely
As we all come from the earth

Vanquished will be corruption

It hits his temple

It can't be true
Cause they're easy to tell
But easy to see through

I don't believe it
Just stop telling lies
Or leave me alone for a bit
You expect me to believe that?
It doesn't seem that real
Now listen here, and probably fear
That the truth should be your ear's only meal
But some lies count
Like numbers ever so
When exaggeration is your only friend
The reality your foe
So you've learnt your lesson
Sing it with pride
Though remember this
Lies are truths just dyed (a different color)

It sits there

It probably hates me

It likes to stab me with its painful knife

So I hide

Hide in my fictional world

Hoping

That my world

Takes reality's place

Do you believe in magic?
I'm hoping it exists
Cause reality is toxic
I'll hope that it received fantasy's hiss
Are you afraid of me?
I'm hoping we all are
I'm hiding a hideous face
Of a sunken fallen star
Of course I can't call myself bad
I'm hoping I say sorry
To poor me and everything
About my own worries
I'm hoping for another chance
To love my life without anything
That's bad or stings or says bad things
Love yourself, offer yourself a dance
Don't feel bad
Just think some more
What could we do
To love ourselves, people all?

Star

Stars are shiny gold.
They can also be blue, but
Internet's cooler.

Gold

I used to be greedy
Ever wanting precious metals
But I learnt something important
Riches aren't always gold
Same as a day
Every second means a diamond
And an hour means a millennium
For a little fly
One year is forever
Twenty tons of silver
Two decades equals every emerald
Ever stolen from the ground
Be a dragon
Hoard something
Perhaps not crystals
Or special metals
Maybe in the future
Collect time
There will be great things most liekly
But preserve the moment now
All I have to say
Is this:
