So, I had this crazy idea, that I might actually be okay at writing poems, (Crazy, right?) and so I thought, "Huh, why not show off my talent by giving free poems away?" That's how this started! So, basically you give me a topic of some sort of sort, and then I write the poem for you. Also I usually find the dark side in most topics (Unless it's something like dandelions or pansies or something along those lines) so if you want to see if you want the happy side of something, then also mention that. Otherwise it's most likely going to be sad and depressing. Anyway, I'm going to put an example or two under a spoiler in case you want to see how good (or awful) I am at writing poems, and if you even want me to write you one.
If you find the place . . .
If you find the place where the sun shines high, Where I wait by the Oak tree’s side, I will always be there, waiting for thy, Where there are hopes and dreams that you can find.
If you find the place where the tree’s shadow covers me, While I sit there waiting wondering of thee, Will ever come to find me by the old Oak tree, For this place is where you look for and find your dream.
If you find the place where the wind whistles a tune, Underneath the shining white moon, I lie there in the grass, mourning over you, As I let the sleep overcome my youth.
You will never find where the Oak tree is frail, The wild grass dies, too old to tell its tale.
The animals around me are deep in sleep, As I lie in my magical, faraway dream.
This place neither far nor near, But you will never see, touch, smell, or hear, The wonders this island used to be, And my fate will remain a mystery, But too late you came to recover me.
((This one came from the top of my head, so don't blame me if it's terrible))
Lost soul
I've lost myself in life's game, They've hidden me inside their maze. Try and seek where I reside, For even I don't know where I hide.
I've lost my love for I've lost my heart, And memories of you are ripped apart. I will never rememeber those I did meet, But I only wish memories of you I can keep.
I've lost the memories inside my head, What remains is the feeling of terrifying dread. Soemthing is getting closer to where I lie, Is it to give me life or to let me die?
I've lost my soul to life's game, I've lost myself inside the maze, My love was taken from my heart, And all memories but dread were ripped apart.
So here I lie, To come to life, No memories to regret, Just a killer left.
So I will usually make it rhyme, but if you don't want it too, mention that as well.
Waiting List 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
I doubt I will have that many people waiting, but I like the number seven, so that's what I shall put. We are open?

6/29- So, my idea that I'm a good poetic person failed miserably (As I expected) so basically what I do, is I post random poems that you, the viewer, can use if you give me credit. Even though I know no one will ever look at this, I would just like to post poems anyway.
7/3- I updated my second example poem. Actually, I completely changed it, because I didn't like the old poem that I had created.

Whoah! I was looking at my post when I saw that someone had posted here and I thought, "Wait a second, did someone actually post in my topic?" Thanks! I'm not sure if you actually like it ((Because personally, I think it's horrifying)) but thanks for posting anyway!

Just one person who recognizes me. Someone who can make me feel free. Don't need to change who I will be. A real life person who I can see.
Who sees what's hidden deep inside. Someone with whom I can confide. No secrets hidden between them and I. Where staying here is harder when we can fly.
But no one's here to say goodbye. Happiness is none but a lie. There's no reason left to try. As my last breath goes out in sigh.
Dear my freind Armorath. I changed my name from wolfbloodedgurl to PhantomWolf, but i actually like your poems, they may not be the best in the world, but they got my attention, and most of them i felt could keep it. Sure they're different from your everyday run of the mill poems, but hey! thats what we need to liven up this world! So i think you should continue this!
Alright guys, The times come to when Phantom will be able to post every once in awhile. I do not know when either. I have school, and have come down with an unrelenting sickness. But if everything goes well, I will see you all in the summer months for sure. I will try to keep up as much as possible
I must say, I really like "If You Find the Place..." The others are quite sad and depressing, as you mentioned above. They're very good, I'm just not a sad and depressing kind of person most days. Some good prompts you could use include picking a color, feeling, or idea, and writing on that. One thing my teacher had us do to write poems was that she found a bunch of old calendars, some with landscapes, others with just artistic photography, and had us write poems based on the ideas we got from the picture. The picture method is actually quite effective, although getting stuck with a picture of cacti wasn't particularly inspiring. Also, my dad's friend created a site called typetrigger.com that gives a prompt every six hours. You can write something on there and have it read by other writers, and you could certainly post your resulting work here or expand on it past the word limit they have.
