First Story
Lost in the Amazon
*Story will end around the middle of January*
Maxwell Santiago had just walked out of the airport where his plane had just landed, and was frozen in shock. Surrounding Max was a massive wall of jungle. Max xhecked the plane ticket stud he was holding. It read- Ticket To New York City. Cleary, he wasn't in NYC. But where was he?
Maz turned to a man passing by and asked "Mister, where am I?" He didn't get an answer, though. The started talking in a language Max didn't understand, because, after all, Max was only 12. "Young man, over here!" Max heard someone shout from behind him. He turned around to see a hotdog vendor. "Hello!" Said Max. "Who are you, and where am I?" He asked. The hotdog vendor replied, "My name is Josh, and you, my good sir, are in the Amazon." When he heard this, Max fainted right there, on the spot.
Max finally opened his eyes to find himself lying on a cot, in........

Re: Story Line!
Spoiler
A hut in the middle of the Amazon.
"Shhh, rise, slowly, I have brought you to my tribe, I work only as a hotdog vendor because I need money to feed my tribe, you are clearly lost?" Josh said softly, but his voice deep and had a strong South American accent.
Max rose slowly. "I am sorry I didn`t mean to pass out, I was on my way to New York, but it seems I got on the wrong plane" he looked around and then analysed the situation, it was pretty deep and his parents were meant to be meeting him in New York, he whipped out his phone and looked at the signal bars. "No signal." he sighed. "You shouldn`t have brought me here!” he growled at Josh.
“But I was just trying to hel...”
“No, no, take me back now!” He got up and his head ruled his body and he collapsed to the floor.
“You’re not strong enough to travel, until then the elders of my tribe have agreed to house you and teach you their ways.”
“No you don`t understand, my parents are in New York, I am not meant to be here.” He sobbed.
“I understand” he touched his shoulder “Rest, I beg of you.” He left the hut, and the door was enclosed by shredded leaves to block out the light.
Max looked around, this was no time to be upset, he had to try get away, he got up and looked out of the leave shredded covered window, many people were going about their usual business in everyday life in the Amazon. He clambered out and ducked behind a wooden frame that hung many fishes. He then ran into the cover of the forest once the coast was clear.

Spoiler
Max ran blindly until his lungs burned, batting away huge leaves and hanging vines. When he finally stopped to rest against a mossy tree, he glanced around and swallowed hard.
"Oh man," he whispered, not daring to even wipe sweat from his brow. In front of him was a snake, more brightly colored than he had ever seen. And it was looking at him.
Max felt cold fear in his stomach- he hated snakes- but also awe.
The snake was about 12 feet long and had the same skin patterning as a python, but instead of greens and browns and blacks, it shone with turquoise and gold and silver. Its ruby eyes studied Max as it spoke.
"Young man, you are lost and afraid. You are in need of a friend."
Max sat down, shocked. "Who-who are you?"
The snake bowed its head gracefully. "I am Tivat, the ruler of the creatures of the amazon."
His eyes widened. "So you're not going to eat me?"
Tivat shook his head in laughter. "No, boy. If I were a regular snake then maybe you could be a snack."
Curious now, Max got up and tentatively approached. "What are you then, if you're not a snake?"
Tivat turned away from Max and unfurled impressive blue wings.
"I am a Quetzalcotal."
