Haiku

Though I'd love to write a full story, I can't disrupt my normal writing plans to do so (I really can't have a year like last year - must publish a few things this year - lol), and time seems to slip through my fingers rather quickly these days.
So, I decided on a silly Haiku.
Was it friend or foe?
The threat was closer to home.
Oh, no! 'Twas the snake!
(Note: If it doesn't include all of the necessary requirements/information and needs to be disqualified, I understand. Just wanted to throw out something short and fun. Hopefully it'll give someone a laugh, at the least.)
