Razan Orchid + Rose Imp - Orchid Imp



No one magi wasn't sure how it happened, when these little hybrid eggs were found in first time in one of The Keep's gardens. At first it looked like unknown kind of Razan Orchid appeared at The Keep. Until tiny Imps with small orchid flowers around their heads hatched from new eggs.
Orchid Imps have elongated green bodies with six limbs and long curved tails that cling to the stems of orchids. Colors of the flowers around their heads imitate orchid flowers on which they live. For better mimicry their heads have the same color pattern as the central part of the flower with delicate curved horns. Due to their colors they are very hard to find even if they're moving.

Well, now we actually can see its whole body, so, yeah, it is better
I didn't mean in my last message that I didn't like the adults, they're cool, but the image of hatchies makes them look like some tiny cute robot-thingy and that's just beyond adorable

It's ok, I didn't change it because of your post. Honestly, I didn't like previous adult image. And I'm glad that you think hatchling looks adorable.

This is my favorite one yet. I like how the leaves are unfurling from the hatchling's head, and someone is doing something offscreen, and the adult is thoroughly unimpressed
