Welcome to the House of Avians! This is where you will learn about what you are and what you are capable of. You start classes soon so make yourself at home. Your dorm is in the apartments to the side of the school. I hope you enjoy it here. Just don't touch the gryphon, he bites! Yes there are mythical creatures in this rp.
The plot
The House of Avians is like a school but for avians. You must attend classes and try and learn as much as you can. You may fall in love or be a loner but you must stay on school grounds because if you don't the humans will hunt you. They don't like beings like you because your different. The classes at this school train you to control your abilities and train you how to fight and protect yourself. Their tough so try to survive them.
What are Avians?
Well essentially they are humans with wings on their backs. They can hide their wings by forming them into their backs but only the most disciplined can do that, which are usually the adults. They can also shift into one winged creature and have one specail ability. Some can control an element, read minds, control emotions, etc.

All bedrooms differ but this is kind of how luxurious the rooms are They come complete with private bathrooms with showers and a hot tub
Of course there are rules!
No god modding, very annoying and there will be consequences Play Nice All MS rules apply No limit on characters but you must keep up with them. Keep number of males and females even. Keep gore and romance at an appropriate level. Username: SoraTheElf Name: Raven (Rave) Salvation Age: 16 ½ Looks: She is slightly pale. Her hair is the color of a raven’s feathers, right down to the bluish/purplish/blackish highlights that are only visible in the sun. Her wings are the same raven black, but with white and silver tips at the ends of each feather. These tips form a pattern that looks like moving waves, especially when she flaps her wings. She has a small star shaped scar at the point where her shoulder meets her neck on the left side. She has striking neon green eyes. Like this: Winged creature appearance: except her wings stay as they were when she was still human. (Black wolf with white patterns on her fur and wings) Personality: Slight split personality. Some days, she’s friendly and playful and other days she is shy and reclusive, and still other days she can be aggressive and irritable. She is always loyal to her “pack” and will do anything to protect them. Ability: Her senses/reflexes are enhanced to higher than super human while her healing is slightly higher then normal, boosting higher when she is injured protecting someone so she can continue to fight, but her power only works when she is protecting some one. Crush: Open History?: Her and her brother learned to hide their wings at a young age. At night, they would use their enhanced senses/reflexes to try to help people in the city they lived in. People they had rescued often told of the Angel Twins who had saved them, but no one could prove they existed. They had received an invitation to the school a few years ago, but they didn’t want to give up their freedom. A close call with a hunter changed their minds. That is where Raven got the small star shaped scar where her neck and shoulders meet. An arrow lightly pierced there and she pulled it out, leaving a small star shaped puckered wound that turned into a star shaped scar.
SteampunkAngel(Clockwork): Amelia Felora
Username: SteampunkAngel Name: Amelia Felora (Often just called Felora) Age: 14 Looks: Somewhat pale-skinned, 5ft6 and skinny with most of what little muscle she has in her arms. Her hair is soft brown with a bleched highlight streak on either side of her face. She has a few freckles bridging her nose and a pair of large, thick glasses magnifying her brown eyes. She's often seen in a long denim skirt, a colorful tee, and a brown patch leather jacket. Her wings are brown, matching her jacket, and batlike. Winged creature appearance: She is quite ashamed of the looks of her creature, though others may find it quite beautiful. The creature has the build of a sleek, skinny falcon, a brown beak, and brown batlike wings, and the batlike fur is brown along the back, but very bright and colorful around the chest and belly. The only feathers are on the tail, five large ones, all brown except for a white one in the middle. Personality: She is normally very antisocial when around others, but if she makes a friend or two, she can be the most outgoing person there is, funny, random, and somehat troublesome. Ability: Has the ability to heal wounds of others, but the more complex wound, the more energy she has to use. The more energy used to heal, the more tired she becomes. A few small scrapes that barely broke the skin use a small amount of energy. A cut that is bleeding uses a slightly larger amount of energy. A cut that is bleeding fast uses a healthy amount of energy. A gash that could be fatal if not stopped uses a large amount of energy, usually making her extremely tired afterwards. Crush: None yet... Username: TigerTay Name: Lilly "Rose" Flyght Age: 15 Looks: Lilly has black ears and tail with silver streaks in them. Her wings are also black with silver streaks but they aren't like normal avian wings. They are more bat-like and look almost demonic. She wears a black studded dog color too. All she knows is that she ended up at the gates of this school. Other: She is pansexual.
Flicker: Birdie Baker
Username: Flicker Name: Birdie Baker Age: 14 Looks: Birdie is small and meek, a little girl for someone her age. Her eyes are a cold, piercing icy blue, and it's almost as though they can see into your soul or mind. Well, she actually can. To match her looks, she has long black hair that is usually covering the right side of her face. Usually, she wears a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but depending on the weather that can change. Her wings are black, not very large and very soft. They reflect the sunlight wherever she goes, giving them a blue tint. Winged creature appearance: When she is a winged creatures, Birdie is a raven. Much larger than the normal species, but a raven none the less. The only difference is her eyes stay the cold, calculating blue as in her human form. Personality: Birdie is cold, calculating and witty, much like the raven she resembles so much. But that is only when she is upset, or the situation calls upon her smarts. Most of the time, she is actually shy, quiet and preferring to write down her ideas and thoughts rather then speak them. she speaks with a faint southern accent, but it can mostly be heard when she is angry. Ability: She can see into others minds, but the only hing she reads is their emotions. Crush: None at the moment. History?: It will be learned on it's own time.
Static: Jade Arvenns
Username: Static Name: Jade Arvenns Age: 14 Looks: She has dark brown hair, and round glasses. She is severely nearsighted, so she can barely see without them on. Her hair is long, and curls in all different directions about three inches before the end of the strands. She has a winged dog (why not? We have Winged Cats) part of her, so she has white pointed ears easily visible against her hair. She wears a white shirt most of the time, with a long blue skirt. She has large buck teeth. Winged creature appearance: she is a large white dog with green-yellow eyes and white wings as well. Personality: Bright and bubbly, Jade loves to laugh and make others laugh as well. She has a snappier side when she hasn't slept though. Ability: She can teleport herself and others but can only do it once a night. If she does it more she has random fits of narcolepsy the next day. Crush: Open! History?: Jade lived with her grandfather until he passed away. Then she stayed in the forest scraping by with natural resources until she came to the school.

Personality: Sweet, shy, and easily overwhelmed, Alice is not a very social person and is very quiet. She loves talking to various birds while on her walks that she often takes sometime everyday. She has a very tender spot on her back inbetween her wings that, if pushed, will temporarily paralize her until the pressure is gone. Because of this, various people have picked on her in her childhood by taking advantage of that. She has anxiety and gets nervous easily, especially in one-on-one social situations. Ability: To control any source and type of water, but is currently terrible at it. (She's kinda like Katara in the beginning of Avatar:The Last Airbender I guess?) Username:Freerunner Name: Flinn Marks Age: 15 turning 16 soon Looks: Flinn is average to light build and of average height for a guy. He had blonde hair and green eyes with a pair of white, black and gray mottled wings like his winged creature forms coat. Winged creature appearance: and of course with wings which are the same shades and markings as his pelt in this form. His feathers also seem to be more furry looking rather than feathery. Personality: He is friendly, mostly easy going, easy to get along with guy. One thing that you may need to know is that he is very persistent and patient. He is gentle and looks out for others whether he likes them or not and whether the person likes it or not. Ability: Super speed and has an ability where he can almost turn into a shadow like form making it hard to see him. Crush: OPEN History?: Flinn grew up in a very wealthy family but never really liked to make this known, he would get mostly normal things nothing too expensive as it just wasn't him. He lived with his parents, older sister and two younger brothers who liked the high life just like his parents. When they found out about his ability they were almost scared to death and after weeks of talking about it and trying to figure things out they still weren't used to their new son so when they found out about this school they immediately sent him off, saying that they would help him.

Personality: He is friendly, but quiet. He is very loyal to his “pack” and will do anything to protect them. He only gets aggressive when he feels his important people were threatened. Ability: His senses/reflexes are enhanced to higher than super human while his healing is slightly higher then normal, boosting higher when he is injured protecting someone so he can continue to fight, but his power only works when he is protecting some one. Static: David (Dave) LaGuarde
Username: Static Name: David LaGuarde (Dave) Age: 13 Looks: Silver blonde hair that sweeps to the side (kind of like Beiber hair? Cooler looking though.) and very light skin with freckles scattered on his nose. He has a rare condition that makes his eyes super sensitive to light (which means that a really bright flash of light could literally blind him for a few hours.) so he wears specially prescriptioned sunglasses that darkens with the amount of light. His eyes are a dark kind of cedar brown. He's kind of thin, but not a stick (haha). His wings are a dark glossy black (kind of like raven wings). He usually wears a dark red hoodie, jeans, and a white shirt. Has earbuds in his ears most of the time. Has a small scar on his ankle from you know, humans. Winged creature appearance: A raven, but the eyes are dark reddish brown. There is a small gray strip on his leg when he is a raven, his scar still appears on his raven form. Personality: He's kind of a quiet rebel, very smart but unwilling to use his talents unless he thinks it's a good cause. Some days grumpy and some days impassive. He can be caring, but doesn't get attached to people easily. Once you get to know him, he laughs easly and generally lightens up a lot. Ability: He can freeze time, for up to a minute. During that time, the others can still move but they are infinitestimally slow. He moves at normal speed during the time, but he can only do this a few times in a row because then he'll get tired and either pass out or be slow as crap. He also sometimes gets overwhelmed by the speed things move once time unfreezes. Crush: Hawk History?: He lived in the woods for most of his life, and never got into much trouble. One day he found a small mp3 player someone had left on a log, presumably taking a walk while listening to music, and he took it. That's one of his only possessions.

He is serious almost all the time. Never looks like he's happy but thats just normal even when he is happy. His ability is strength and he teaches self defense and battle tactics on land and in the air. He turns into a large falcon

Unlike his previously mentioned co worker Roscoe is more passive and would rather think before reacting with fighting. His ability is super intelligence and teaches students about what they are and discipline.Turns into a large blue jay.
Ms. Rouge (Played by: Alyssawillome )
She's more secretive and plotting but is nice. She turns into a large bat and teaches survival. She has the ability to make others see what she wants them to see but doesn't use it very much.
