You have been given the ‘honor’ to participate in this year’s Hunger Games. Some have volunteered to be a tribute, to show their superiority and bring honor to their District. While most are separated from their loved ones, forced to kill each other in hopes of survival. They will give you the opportunity to train and win over sponsors, which could mean the difference between life and death. At the end, only one victor may stand and get to live in luxury, but even then, you are at the complete mercy of the Capitol. In short…

Welcome to The Hunger Games…

Rules:
1. ALL of the MS rules apply
2. Keep Romance and Deaths PG-13
3. Swear words should be censored out, for example, b*tch, a**, h*ll, etc.
4. No god-modding
5. No Mary-Sues/ Gary Stus (means no perfect characters)
6. This is NOT a supernatural RP so please; keep it as realistic as possible.
7. If you die, you die. No arguments.
8. STAY ACTIVE! If I find that you won’t be able to catch up, you will be written off in some bizarre way. Don’t worry, I’ll first send you a warning to remind you if you start being inactive.
9. Please write as detailed as you can, I’m not asking for you to write an extremely long paragraph, but just enough that other players have something to add to.
10. You must at least have read the first book or seen the movie. If you don’t, you might get lost.
11. Please put obstacles for your character like mutts attacking or forest fires, just keep in mind that not everyone dies in battle.
12. Only 2 characters per person, they should be different genders and not in the same district.
13. Make fights descriptive, it’s what makes the Hunger Games good.

The Sponsors:
Here’s where the twist comes in. The people who will be lurking/reading will also play a part in this RP. They will become sponsors in these games and they will be able to send parachutes to a character they favor. One person will only be allowed to send a total of 3 parachutes, you will only be allowed to sponsor 1 character. If you are a character in this RP and both of your characters die (if you have 2 characters), you will be allowed to sponsor other characters that are still alive. There will be a cooling time of 3 days to one week depending on what you send.

If it is food or anything that helps you acquire food and water, 3 days.

If it is medicine, 5 days.

If it is weapons, 1 week.

All sponsors must use this:
A silver parachute drifts down near (put the character’s name) and lands (on the ground/ in the tree/ near the water or wherever they are). In/on it contains a/an __________________





Mutts:

Butterfly mutts: They are bigger than the usual butterfly and they have extravagant, psychedelic colors. This beauty comes with a price as emits poisons that blind you, paralyze you, or in extreme cases, kill you. They travel in groups and usually stay near flowers.

Rat mutts: They are almost the size of a possum as they speedily scurry on the jungle floor. They have big teeth that chew easily through trees, much like beavers. When they spot you, they will let out a high-pitched screech and charge at you, sometimes even pounce at you. They will eat you alive.

Woodpecker mutts: They look like regular woodpeckers but fly as fast as a hummingbird, their beaks areas sharp as beestings and hurt just as much. When you are spotted, they will dive at you and peck you until you bleed to death.

Freshwater Shark mutts: These sharks are like a hammer head, but their heads are literally made of steel. The move swiftly in the water and will ram you underwater, impact could cause internal injuries.

These are just some of the mutts, if you want to create more then it’s fine.

Appearance: He's a 5'8 with dark spiky hair, tan skin and deep, brown eyes. He's a little muscular from all the work.
Personality: He is an independent and stubborn guy who refuses to work with anyone. He is the kind of person that is not necessarily mean but tries his best not to loose his pride. He knows when to become serious but is easily distracted. He is a natural survivalist but does not know when to trust others, which is usually his downfall. He will not hesitate to kill but does not take pleasure in it.
Strengths: Resourceful, Strong
Weaknesses: Camouflage, Swimming (He can swim but can't last long)

Appearance: She is 5"4 and a little on the short side compared to the others. She has a tanned skin and has long, wavy black hair.She has striking blue eyes that are ready to kill.
Personality: She is a typical Career. She is snobby and rude just so she can get what she wants. She is a spoiled brat who, even if she's an excellent fighter, does not know how to live in the arena. She constantly whines when she doesn't like things and when it's time to kill, she WILL make you wish you were never part of the games.
Strengths: Speed, Accuracy
Weaknesses: Living in a forest, Hunting for food
Token: A purple armband with jewels on it, with the word "Winner" on it. It came from her mom afer she volunteered to be a part of the Games.

Appearance: She is 5"5 with beautiful, curly, dirty blonde hair that reaches her waist, fair skin, and ocean blue eyes. She has her hair down most of the time, other times she puts it in a ponytail. You can usually find her wearing black shorts and a green tank.
Personality: She is a person who doesn't get along with everyone and is a brat. She is hard to persuade, unless you can impress. She hates people trying to boss her around, and she likes to take charge. She loves having attention and will kill anything that gets in her way in the Games.
Strengths: Running, Climbing, and Distracting people
Weaknesses: Insects and Keeping Quiet.
Token: Silver chain necklace with little sparkling sapphire blue gems in it. It says her name on it also. She got it from her mother when she was five.

Appearance: He stands at 5"7 with midnight black hair that reaches his grey eyes. He has a bit more muscular body than most guys his age.
Personality: He is a silent guy, good for hiding. He doesn't trust anyone with his life and you might find him hard to get along with. He likes to do things his own way and hates people bossing him around. He is always ready to kill.
Strengths: Camoflauge and Aim
Weaknesses: Animals.
Token: Dangling silver earrings that he found one day when he was in the fields.

Best Weapon: Kate is most experienced with a bow and arrow
Appearance: Kate's hair is a nice thick brown. She usually has two french braids in. Kate's bangs are pretty short. She has a few freckles on her cheeks. Her skin seems very pale and completely not tan. Her eyes are a toasty warm brown.
Personality: Kate can be a little shy. She wishes with all her hope she will win this Hunger Games. Her family has always been poor, and Kate has been exposed to eating some of the crops in District 11. When she was young she used to get many public beatings. Now, Kate knows better, but still feels tempted to take it. Overall Kate is very kind and searches for a trusting person to form an alliance with.
Strengths: Kate's strengths are the trees and she can jump around them very easily. Kate is overall very fast just like Rue was.
Weaknesses: Kate's weakness is the stronger guys. She lacks of power, but uses her weapons wisely.
Token: Kate has a bracelet from her grandmother. The bracelet has been passed down from generation to generation. The bracelet has a glimmering crystal hanging down from it. Her grandma also won the 48th annual Hunger Games.

Best Weapon: He is an expert with Throwing Knives
Appearance: Keith is a short boy. His eyes are pure brown, and his hair is golden blond. He stands at about 5.3 feet tall. He has a few freckles on his cheeks.
Personality: Keith is very shy, and doesn't exactly like forming alliances. His strategy is to not kill very much, but also not get killed. He can be very friendly, and kind, but it takes a lot for you to gain his trust.
Strengths: Hunting as he knows how to fish. and he has great accuracy.
Weaknesses: Keith's main weakness is the hot weather and heat. Another weakness is snares.

Appearance: (No pictures) She is 5'7 and weighs around 115. She looks like a muffin could fill her up for the day, which is what she usually does get before heading off to work with the sheep, cows, horses, or pigs. She is very lean, with pretty brown hair that falls just past her shoulders, when she doesn't have it in a high ponytail. Her eyes are a stunning emerald green, and has vey tan skin from working outside so often.
Personality: Krystal is cautious of strangers at first, but will warm up to someone pretty quickly, if they show they have no bad intentions. She is more at ease when around animals than people, but can talk pretty easily. She prefers to use actions instead of words, but at times she can be a real chatterbox.
Strengths: (Maximum of 3) Krystal's strengths are speed(running), aiming, and climbing
Weaknesses: (Minimum of 2) Power and camoflauge
Token: (Something small, it CAN’T help you in anyway) A hair pin that has a small flower with an emerald the color of her eyes in the middle. If you turn it over, it says Together forever. Love, Ty. Her brother gave it to her before he was in the Hunger Games and unfortanutely did not survive.

Appearance: Curly light brown hair that hangs just below his ears. He has pale blue/grey eyes that seem to pierce right through you. His skin is fair and has some freckles here and there. Stands at 5’8” and is lean.
Personality: He’s your typical District 2 tribute. Cocky, arrogant, and above all hard headed. Will play nicely with others if it’s to his advantage if not good luck getting a word out of him.
Strengths: Strong, good looking, and surprisingly cunning
Weaknesses: Snares, edible plants, and moving quietly

Gender: Female

Best Weapon: Spear or Knifes
Appearance: Delphi is an average girl. She has moss green eyes that have a slight almond shape to them. She stands at exactly 5 feet so she's pretty short compared to most girls. Her hair is sort of brown/black with a gentle wave to it and falls to just above her shoulders when it isn't up in a bun. She is lean with some muscle to do her working with fishing boats and repairing nets among other things.
Personality: She is outgoing and fun to be around. Delphi isn't afraid to strike up a conversation with someone unless they give her a bad vibe.
Strengths: Making nets out of almost anything, moving swiftly, and throwing knives
Weaknesses: Camouflage and hand-to-hand combat
Token: A small necklace that has a carving of a fish on it.
