((That's perfectly fine, Archangel.
He's a guy so that's not too bad. No offense to female players.))
"You traveled all the way to Yggdrasil?! From Skywing? Oh, you poor things. Here, I'll buy you some ramen...On the house!" Dillan spoke to Elijah and Ana, smiling broadly.
He raised his arm and snapped his fingers, calling the attention of his waiter.
"May you please bring these two young souls some of your Steak Ramen? Just add it to my bill." Dillan asked politely, looking at Agnei and Kaguya in the corner.
"Sure thing, Pal! Anything for my best customer." The host said, smiling and then walking off. Dillan had a sense of pride and accomplishment fill into him. Chuckling, Sakura turned to Elijah and Ana and spoke softly, suddenly turning serious.
"Shadows are basically black, murky figures that feed off the lives of any living organism. Where we work, it is our job to hunt them down." Sakura said sternly, looking around. Dillan glanced back at the others and scooted in.
"Pretty much. We heard that they might be raiding Yggdrasil soon. Me, Sakura and the four friends are stationed around the city to stop these bastards. There's plenty of other comrades here, too." Dillan added, nodding his head in agreement. As he spoke, Dillan felt a light tap on his shoulder. He looked up to see Agnei and Kaguya standing in front of them, their hoods covering their heads.
"Dillan, inform Diran that we are headed towards the Merchant District. We've already finished our ramen." Agnei said, looking silently at the others.
"O-oh right... I'll be right on it. Do you need any backup...?" Dillan asked, looking at the girls.
Kaguya shook her head.
"No. We'll be fine. Just tell Di Lun and Diran that we are coming." Kaguya added, walking out the restaurant with Agnei, who nodded before leaving.
Scratching his head, Dillan put his hand to his ear and spoke quietly into it.
"Dillan to Mercenaries... Diran, Di Lun... Agnei and Kaguya are proceeding to the Merchant District to rendezvous with you. Head about halfway to The C.R and escort them. Me and Sakura will stay here and chat with a few old friends of ours." Dillan spoke flawlessly, not even stuttering a little.
"Alright. Heading towards The C.R ASAP. Also, Dillan...I thought we told you to refrain from associating with civilians! If we get discovered, do you know how much unnecessary fame we'll have? It could jeopardize the mission!" Di Lun spoke over the mic, his tone serious. Diran was heard in the background grumbling, inaudibly.
"Don't worry... We can trust them. They know how to fend themselves and how to keep secrets. Just trust me." Dillan replied, matching Di Lun's tone.
After a moment of silence, a sigh was heard and Di Lun spoke again.
"Alright, Just be careful, will you? We're on a thin ice here... we don't need to break it now."
"Don't worry, it will be fine. Over and Out."
As Dillan hung up, he turned and smiled to his group.
"Sorry about that... business calls."
