Amanda cracked her knuckles, and gave her twin a big grin.
"Ready Ben?"
"Of course, dear sister."
Ben returned his twin's smile, and then watched as the wind picked back up, pulling at the sand. Dust storms were dangerous enough when they were natural. When controlled by his twin, Ben had seen them kill many Shadows. And destroy machinery.
The dust storm howled, avoiding every member of the Mercenaries and their friends, instead spreading further and further out. But in case someone aimed for his twin, Ben twisted his body and blew on his hand. A shield formed, and then he plunged it into the ground. The ice went into the sand, and then spread into a circle around Amanda that was nearly two inches thick. He smiled, and then twisted away, forming a hand-held shield for himself before he drew his sword.
With a flick of his wrist, the blade shimmered into flame, and the icy hilt felt cool and comforting beneath his fingers.

Recap for anyone who was Absent:

Watching the storm unfold in front of them, Grey and Scarlet formed a shield around Sanctus, watching the sand storm rip apart the wolves around them. HYDRA growled loudly as the sandstorm began to pound bitterly against it's defenses. The sandstorm weathered it's alloy, weakening it's shields.

However, Scarlet and Grey didn't seem to become phased by it. Watching the sand storm pound against each other, Sanctus sighed and held up the shield while the two figures jumped out and began to attack.

Scarlet took no time in developing a large Arcana shockwave in his hands and then sending it tearing through the earth towards Amanda and Benjamin. Raito growled and then jumped in the way, creating a large ice wall to block. However, the arcana tore through the ice, striking Raito instead of the siblings.

Unfortunately, The arcana bolt was so strong, that it severed Raito's entire right arm off. Taking advantage of the situation, Grey ran towards the are where the arm was severed, Grey began to absorb the blood the came from the wound and began to use it to attack the others, easily bringing the rest of the Hi No Tora down.

"No!!" Diran growled, watching Raito, Seth, Ken, Daiyu, Sophia and Aika get cut down by the two Testaments. Diran lunged towards the Testaments, forming a blood claw in his hand to strike the Scarlet Testament and then slashed an arcane bolt at the Grey Testament. Breaking the masks, Diran growled as he attempted to examine their faces. However, upon discovery, Diran dropped his weapon and backed away slowly, horror written in his eyes. The six Hi No Tora members looked up and gasped in horror along side Diran as they realized who it was.

"Tina...? Locke...??" Sophia asked, tears forming in her eyes.

"Mom...?? Dad...?? No... This... This can't be! You were the causes all along...??" Diran asked weakly, backing away slowly.

Noticing the Sandstorm getting weaker and weaker, Sanctus dropped the shield and chuckled.

"Ohh yes... They were quite fun to play with. Unlike Daisuke and Misha, they weren't rebellious little sh*ts. They were good children...they listened to their elders." Sanctus laughed wickedly, causing Diran to growl.

"You... you did this to them...? All this time they were alive, but they were living in a nightmare...?" Diran asked, his voice shaking with both surprise, sorrow and anger.

Sanctus just chuckled, nodding his at the Testaments to attack.

Agnei noticed their notions and spoke up to warn Diran.

"Diran!! Look out! They're about to attack...!!"

Diran gasped and picked up Murakumo, jumping out of the way. However, since HYDRA wasn't destroyed, HYDRA lifted it's heads and began to charge up, shooting a energy ball with five elements in it. Because of the timing, the ball slammed right into Diran, sending crashing into a wall. Scarlet continued on the attack by slamming him with another arcane shockwave and was finished by Grey absorbing and then attacking Diran with his own blood. Diran was in a wreck when this was finished. Realizing that he couldn't get up because of the pain, Diran sat back in horror as he watched Sanctus, HYDRA and the Testaments proceed towards the group, which with a murderous look in their eyes.

"N-no...!!"

Anastasia and Elijah both hands are together, feeling there powers of light and darkness combining to make the ultimate power attack on the enemies and Sanctus. Opening there eyes Elijah's eyes were black and Anastasia's was a pure white light. Charging there energy.

((It's no problem, Elijah. I imagine it must be difficult to jump back into the loop of this roleplay after the long wait. It's no big deal. Like I said, I'm not expecting short stories, so relax. ))

(So, quick question: Are Raito and the other parents dead, or incapacitated, or near-dead, or what? This greatly affect what happens for my characters, namely the emotionally barely stable Ben.)

((Critically injured. I mean, Raito did get his arm severed off... and then had his own blood used to slash him and the parents up... Diran is in the same condition too. Right now, at least half of the team got devastated by only two people (Tina and Locke, The Scarlet and Grey Testaments, Diran's Parents, whatever you want to call them xD).))

(I'm sticking with Testaments. Alright, I'll have to post when my muse comes back, she's running after my fan-fiction again, but I'll post before Friday...hopefully.)

(Yay~ This is back in action~ *dances happily* Had to go find muses, but it was so worth the search in my opinion)

Vald clenched his teeth as the true identities of the scarlet and grey testaments were revealed. "You are a sick b*st*rd. You know that right?" He counted himself somewhat lucky he had been on the fringe of the blood wave attack they had sent that injured most of the parents in the group. Falling back, he was glad that the sand storm Amanda conjured up had taken out most, if not all of the wolves.

Amethyst fell down on the ground in a daze. Too much was happening for her to be able to keep up. Looking up as she heard someone shout out a warning to Diran, she looked up just in time to see HYDRA shot out the ball of energy. She went even paler as she watched what happened to Diran. Looking at HYDRA, she got a crazy idea and hoped that the others would forget about her long enough for it to work. Thanking any higher powers, she quickly made a double of herself before blending herself into the shadows. It wasn't the best blend in as if she moved too fast, you could easily spot her. Slowly standing, she edged her way toward HYDRA, hoping to take down the monstrosity before it hurt anyone else.
