☼ The Blue Sun ☼

((Welcome. Before you get too snuggled down and all comfy in front of your computer, let me make one little detail painfully obvious, so that you don't forget it: this rp will be alive and kicking, and won't stop till we all end up murdering it. As in, upon joining, you'll be making a commitment to post at least TWICE A WEEK.

Look elsewhere.

Because frankly boys and girls, this is gunna be mind-blowing, and if you can't keep up to pace, your loss.

Now on a happier note, since each joinee will be thus required to pay a specific amount of attention into the rp, it ensures that the rp doesn't quote-on-quote DIE like so many potentially fabulous ones do. You know the kind, where everything's awesome for a week or two, but then suddenly half the people just up and dissapear.

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

So, without any further adieu, feel free to step forwards, to be forever bathed in the light from the Blue Sun.))

☼ Rules ☼

1. Swearing's fine. Let's just not have an octave of cuss words in place of the rp, mkay?

2.This is a Medieval Fantasy. Be a wizard, a sorceress, a freaking unicorn for all I care; just, whatever you do, make it believable. Originality is highly encouraged; as in, make your own creature! Make a dragon..elf...thing, or something. Uniqueness is a trait that'll basically ensure your acceptance.
So if you decide to be Princess Gumdrop come to save the little fairies from the grey-colored rainbow, I strongly suggest you consider adding a dark side to weigh it all out. Make sense?

3. This rp is made for the more mature specimens of humanity. If you can't take heavy stuff, like gore...violent scenes...possibly racy-ahemsexy-situations, then I suggest you leave. Now, we all know we can't go around throwing stuff like "****" or "*****" or "And then his **** went deeper into the pulsing ***** of the **** with ** **** * * ****** * * *!!!!" YeahbuhNO. Keep that stuff to emails kiddies.

4. You gotta put this feller somewhere in your skeleton so that I know you read the rules! : [ ,,o...o,, ] AHW. It's bluuushing~!

5. If you fail to post at least twice a week, your character will be deemed 'DEAD.' As in, everyone will act as if The Hollow One will have come up and sucked out their souls. Entrails too, but that's besides the point.

6. Read the end of the title. ((Ignore the O/A)) What does it say? Adv/lit. Advanced literate or literate. If you are not, then I suggest going and practicing your writing skills...because only after you've wowed me with your impeccably alluring verbiage will I be willing to accept you into this rp! I only want the best of what you can offer.

7. Okay, lotsa rules. I get it. But, ignore rule #4. Instead, put as the title of your pm to me the breed of character(s) that you'll be controlling. I.E., Elf, Human, Demon, etc.

BUT, he looks about 23 in his human form.

Gender: Male. (hurhurr)

Race: Technically, a werewolf. But he prefers beast.

Appearance: Keeping it to the basics; saving the pretty words for the rp.

Wolf Form: Black fur tipped with white, blue eyes, lean, muscled body. Slightly larger than the average wolf. The fur around his eyes has a slim white line around his eyelids, that fades out and blends with the black.

Human Form: Black hair that's tipped with white, blue eyes, pale skin. Stands at 6'3" and has the same sleek, muscled body, with broad shoulders. Quite a knockout, actually.

Personality: Cunning, charming, very bestial, especially when the situation calls for proper human manners. Has that 'too-cool-to-lose-my-cool' badboy thing going for him, like nothing can ruffle him, but when it does, he snaps. ono

☼ The Beginning ☼

((This is the part where I'm supposed to fill you in on the story, the background, and all that lovely shizz. Well, guess what? This is gunna be kind of like a novel. You've gotta REEEAD what I WRIIIITE in order to find out all the info! So, here's my intro. Please PM me any questions you have, rather than posting them on here!))

The night was filled with a warm breeze, a soft push of wind that trickled through the tall, chest-high blue grass, the strands of azure swaying and flowing with the gentle encouragement of the wind in such a way that it looked like a Dalian's mane as it ran. Puffs of pollen and little winged seeds drifted on the gentle wind, catching the moon's subtle glow and illuminating with its individual hue. Tonight, it was She'Neah, the largest of the three moons, the one with the soft, golden face that illuminated everything in a gentle glow of gold. It was so perfectly warm...

...the stars, so vibrant, so bright, dappled across the the depthless sky in a splatter of twinkling wonder, some seeming to catch and reflect She'Neah's brilliantly mellow light, others casting colors of their own. It was as if someone had spilled out a bag of multi-colored jewels on a black velvet tabletop, splayed out so randomly and yet so perfectly all one could do is sit and gaze in pure awe at the beauty, gaze at the sheer magnificence of something so amazing, and yet made by no creature's hands.

It was this warm night that Evolet's mind chose to wander to, a night where she didn't have to be worried about life, about decisions, about being able to actually live. The memory was one before she came of age, before The Hollow One had even been known to exist....

She let out a low breath, tearing her blue eyes away from the sky and focusing back on the present. Back straight, gaze flitting across the depths of the darkness all around her, a chill tickled up her spine as her senses were hit with the scent of the damp air. A sweet, almost putridly musky odor, it caused her pale grey skin to prickle over with goosebumps.

Come on Evolet, really.
This is neither the time or the place to start being afraid of the dark. Move forward, get some shelter before you freeze.

Her bare footfall was silent as she moved, her slender form gliding over the ground with such animalistic preciseness, one would think she was more creature than human.

But with all truth of the matter applied, that's the reality she was cursed to live through.

She leapt and glided over the forest floor, her elegant, smooth sprint looking more like an elaborately stunning dance more than a manner of running. Muscles drawn tight, her ears suddenly perked to the sound of dogs.
Their panting breath...

...their excited, low whines.

Shit.

Still a good ways off, but spirits save her, their keen little noses had undoubtedly picked up her scent. Her pace quickened, to the point where it would appear she was more shooting through the air than simply moving forward. Black cloak billowing out behind her, strands of her platinum white hair whipping across her face as she sifted between thick tree trunks and over tangles of roots before her. They wouldn't catch her. They couldn't. She was too fas--SHFINK.

An arrow.

Good Spirits, had they finally learned to strategically hunt now?

The icy metal head had sunk itself deep into her side, piercing through her skin and wedging itself tightly into her flesh, and the sudden intensity of the intruding weapon set her movement off balance, causing her to turn in relation to the impact and dive shoulder-first into the damp earth. Her heart was pounding up against her ribs, eyes wide as she strained her neck around, searching, staring for a face in the dark. The dogs were so close. She could smell the sweat on their skin. And, her blood....

...glancing down, the sight of the wooden shaft protruding out just above her hipbone made a wave of nausea sweep through her. Black blood trickled out from the wound, spilling down her bare stomach and onto the dirt below, the inky vitae contrasting drastically against her grey skin.

Well, this was going to be interesting.

He could smell her spilt blood. The warmth, the honey-like sweetness twinged with a spike of poison. As the alpha, he had made all the other lower pups lap up a sickly mixture of vinegar and charcoal to coat their insides, so when they got the chance to sink their teeth into their prey, they wouldn't be affected by her rot.

He let a deep, gutteral growl reverberate up from the back of his throat to the following dogs, telling them to pick up the pace. As other animals, they were undoubtedly excellent hunting companions, but Drekon knew. A dog would be nothing more than a dog. And he, he was a wolf.

A wolf, and a man.

The perfect hunter.

His silvery black fur prickled over with a wave of energy as the scent of her grew increasingly stronger. They were all so close. So close...

...if only these mutts behind him knew how to run!
