It's not open right now. It is only available sometimes and when it comes around next time a quest will show up where you need to give 4 live cobra eggs and maybe some money? So yeah while you're waiting for it to come back get yourself some cobra breeding pairs so you can get in before it leaves again.

If you want to be rid of it for another live egg, freeze it and send it to Master Belmos or Nursery Helper. It's several hours before you can release.

I threw 100 gold in Koi Pond, I did not get any eggs. Some inscription "information ..." flashed, which I did not have time to read. How do I know now what has changed? Inventory is empty, 100 gold is not, nothing is clear.

Koi pond gives a chance at getting an egg - that's basically what the text you didn't have time to read says. If you do get an egg, it'll be different text about a koi bringing you one, and then the screen will load to the egg you got, rather than back to the pond.

Yes, tossing gold in the Koi Pond is like a lottery. All levels of gold give you chances at the same eggs. I usually go with the 15 gold option, but I can go 20 tries before I get an egg. I know a few who would rather just buy Pond Koi from the Merchant District. It may cost a little more, but it eliminates the hassle of hoping for a particular egg, then hatching it.
