I saw a few recently joined members have six eggs... I wonder if it's something Magistream just added, or is it just a glitch/bug? I also went to the stream and clicked on an egg, it still says "You can't take care of more than four eggs at a time"...

I also had this weird thing happen to me a few days ago... So I was at the Stream and I saw an egg I wanted, so I clicked on it. It was really laggy, and nothing happened. So I clicked on it again, and it worked! But it said "Someone has already taken the egg". I went to the Keep to see if I got it (because sometimes there might be this glitch where it's really laggy or whatever and you click on it again, but you already got it, so the message pops up), nothing was there. Later, as I was breeding two creatures and successfully getting an egg, I saw the egg that I had tried to get earlier. Went to the Stream to check again, same "You can't take care of more than four eggs at a time".

So the question is... Is this just a weird glitch/bug that happened to me?!

The basic limit is 4 eggs. If you have shards and already have 4 eggs, you can purchase/breed up to 2 donation pets for a total of 6. There are a couple quests that allow people to exceed the limit and anyone who still has presents from the recent Magiversary could also legally exceed the limit. Currently the stream lag glitch means if you click an egg in the stream it doesn't show up in your keep for several minutes. This can cause you to have more than the allowed eggs.

It's called iterative development. Instead of having people wait a long time for a final completed huge feature, smaller already functioning parts can, and should, be released because the benefit of having them out greatly outweighs the additional waiting time for a more completed release.

When the Bestiary first came out it didn't have many of the features it now has, yet it served its base purpose, i.e. listing all the species on the site just fine. Additional information, statistics, and functionality was then added in cycles constantly improving it and making it more complete.

If we'd waited for every last piece of data to be ready, the Bestiary wouldn't be out even now.

That would depend entirely on what you wanted to discuss, who holds the copyright, and how it is used. A situation where you wanted to recolor someone else's work for a signature/icon would be different from if you wanted to use site art in your own commercial project, and both are different from you trying to uphold the copyright of something you made.

The Rules of Conduct and Hall of the Arts both have rules about crediting sources and copyright. I'd say start there. If you are looking to get permission from someone else, first steps would be to check their rules and/or talk directly to the owner (understanding that 'No' is a valid answer, and no response is equivalent to 'No'). If you're concerned about violation of your own copyright or of site rules, contact a moderator.

How come my Svetku Lynx sometimes doesn't have his red cloak on? At the same time I've been wondering if the lynxes bought from Trading Post have the cloaks or not or if it depends on the season.
