Well, finally, after weeks of breeding, tonight I managed to get a Meridian Capricorn. Yay me. However, it took the rest of my stash of Koi and Ibex to get an Amethyst and a Hallow, too (trying to satisfy the Vasial's Crush quest). Sadly, the Tidal refused to show up, so I'm hoping the other three languish in egg form for a few days, so when the cool down ends I can try again. What would be nice is if the game would accept what you have and then wait until you can get the last egg or eggs. Trying to get four eggs from a very difficult-to-breed pairing is proving itself quite the quest! Guess it wouldn't be worth the time if it was easy, right? LOL Makes one appreciate the prize at the end.

I have to say that I've had a lot of fun with these quests. There's another egg game that I play, but it's not nearly as complex as Magistream. A big thanks to the creator(s) and those who keep things interesting.

Are you planning on hatching then to then breed them more easily? I have some breeding potions if you would like to refresh them soon. To send a trade with your pairs you want to be refreshed. Otherwise good luck with getting the tidal capricorn!

Thank-you for the offer, but I'd like to see if I can do this. What I would like to know is if I can make my Keep invisible, so that some well-meaning Magi can't graciously click my dragons into hatchlings. I need four Capricorn eggs for the Mermaid quest. Soooo close! LOL I recall seeing something along those lines, but I've searched high and low with no luck. If you know where this is, I would be forever grateful for directions. Thanks! :-D

The spell of protection and/or spell of cloaking can help with that.

As Pegasi1978 said the spell of protection or cloaking can be used but each cost 75k so it's a bit of cost to get it. I would move them out of the main tab and make a note in your sig and profile.

Thanks! I did just that, so now I just have to remember where I've put them (did all of my Capricorn eggs).

SUCCESS!!! Keeping my eggs 'hidden', so to speak, in their adult species categories helped extend their pre-hatchling state. I ended up with two Meridians, however, so now I have one to keep. After that, the Tidal became the elusive egg, but this morning one finally popped up from one of my pairings. I cheered! LOL

What a quest, though! LOL Frustrating when it's not going well, total elation when I can finally satisfy it.

What I enjoyed about this quest (as well as all the others) is that it's not just acquiring the desired requirements, but the story behind it. That makes things far more interesting. Kudos to the script writers! They all did a great job.

Now, on to the next task.

BTW, in satisfying that quest, am I now part of the Trident Guild, or do I have to do something else? I vaguely recall having to send a request, but they haven't returned with their answer. Guess I'll go and investigate that, to see if I've done all that's required.

Anyway, I want to offer a huge thanks to everyone here who tried to help me. I appreciate it very much.

EDIT: Alas, another quest to do in order to be part of the Trident Guild. The fun continues...albeit a bit more expensively. 10,000 gold! I spent nearly all of my gold on the Leviathan. Guess I need to start working the different threads here. LOL

I think you just have to complete a separate quest for the trident society but I'm not sure since I joined the herbalist guild.

Here's a list of what quest to do to join which society as well as info on how to change societies if you wish. Best I remember it costs 100k to switch so would choose wisely lol.
