I had a red Kitsune egg I used a carrot cookie on to turn it into a Rabbitsune, and it changed it to a white egg. How can you get red Rabbitsune? Do you need to breed them in order for them to be red??

It is random what color they turn into. White is one of the common colors.

Both the stream Kitsunes and the Arkenian Kitsunes will randomly change into one of the four Rabbitsune colours when fed the carrot cookie.

Also, in case you didn't know, to get more carrot cookies you just have to breed your kitsunes. There's a fairly good chance a carrot cookie will appear in your inventory because of the breeding. If you don't want the resulting eggs, you can freeze them and send them to Master Belmos.
