Hey, so I've been posting my eggs, and a friends egg codes in the egg hatching thread and this message keeps coming up when I do it. I keep editing the posts since I hate seeing it and it just seems like a scam.

Hadn't seen it in your posts but PMed someone else earlier today since I've seen it in their posts for the past 2 days....no clue what/why it shows up though..

I've seen it in other's as well. I edit it out of my posts so it doesn't show up. if it is a scam I don't want someone clicking on it even by accident.

That shows up when posting egg codes with drunk text. I post then immediately edit when posting drunk. Another solution can be to buy Remy's Special Brew before posting in the click threads to detoxify.

Really? Have always had it mess up the text and it wouldn't post = have never had that show up in mine. And it had happened once before a few years back on some members.

This is not something that is intentionally caused by the drunk effect.

What happens is that when under the influence of the drinks, posting text gets drunkified. That means on the click threads the links and image links of creatures get muffled as well. Now if someone has registered a domain that's close to Magistream's domain, the drunk text can on occasion turn into links to that site, and if that site decides to serve ads or warnings, that's what's showing up.

To avoid this from happening for now the best thing to do is to either only post when sober, or alternatively post, then edit the text immediately and paste the desired text on the editing view. (:

I made sure to do that. thank you for more information on this Rosehill. I don't do it often so I'll keep it in mind for when I do.
