I have no idea what to do here. Can someone tell me how to go about... Everything?
How do I make money?
How do I get more creatures?
What is the map for?
Anything else because that's all I know about at this point.

Heya! Welcome to Magistream! To answer your questions:

-You can earn gold by posting, clicking your and other people's creatures, and gold mining, which refers to clicking large amounts of creatures at once through the use of browser add-ons such as snaplinks.
-Creatures can be obtained from the stream (click the header at the top of the page), shops (located in the 'Shops' section of the bar near the top of the page), quests (click the 'World' section, which takes you to a map with various locations, many of which have quests associated with them), the Koi Pond (one of the locations from the 'World' section), and player shops (located in the Merchant District section of the forums)
-I believe the map you are referring to is the 'World' section I mentioned earlier, if so it is where you can go to complete quests and read lore.

How do I make money?

The main ways to get gold-the main site currency-is by clicking live creatures (eggs, hatchlings and adults) and by posting. As you've probably noticed, posting nets you gold-the longer the post the more gold with it capping at 200 gold I believe. You can also sell pets to other users for old. Some people also sell art for gold.
In regards to clicking creatures, you can find plenty to click in the Click Threads (found in the Reindeer Games section of the forums) and on the Image Free Nursery.
There is also the Image Free Goldmine. Usually mass clicking like this is coupled with browser addons such as SnapLinks or Link Clump and a CloseIt script to do what is called 'goldmining'. Snap Links allows you to select and open a mass amount of links at once, while the CloseIt script will close the pages for you once they've loaded.

How do I get more creatures?

There are multiple ways. The easiest way is by getting them, for free, from the Stream, which is accessed by clicking the big banner at the top (the part that says MagiStream, which takes you to the front page of the site). You can also get creatures from various quests found on the World Map, and from the shops, found under the, well, Shops button.
And like gold you can get creatures from other users.
You can also breed two compatible creatures together to get babies, and in some cases, a hybrid creature (an Ibex and Manticore for example have a chance of producing a Chimera). Not every breeding is successful and all breedings, successful or not, put the bred creatures on a three day cool down. Once this cool down is up you can try breeding them again.

What is the map for?
As mentioned above, quests! Mostly. Each of the little gems leads to a different place on the map, many of which have Quests, which can be completed to get creatures, or access to Guilds. You can only be part of one Guild (Dark Brotherhood, Society of the Trident or Herbalists Guild) at a time, though if at any time you decide to switch guilds you can leave the one you're in by way of the Face Changer Quest(although it requires a hefty sum of 100k gold).
The Koi Pond is also found on the World Map, this is another place to get creatures from, though it's luck based and you don't always get anything.

With regards to the Image Free Goldmine site, I've tried to open an account several times, with the page telling me that it's sent a confirmation code to my email. I've double and triple checked to make sure I give it the correct email, have checked my spam folder, and even the 'end of day' rejects that my internet provider gives me (those emails that it considered suspicious). Nothing shows up. Does it show up in email by a different name? Thanks! :-D

You don't need an account to use is IFN or IFG. Just click the links on the page.

As to where the e-mail is being sent, are you sure you entered your e-mail address correctly? Or, more than likely, it's something with either the email server or the site server that is bouncing it back, and it's never reaching your inbox.

Despite what it says that there are over 300 pages, what I see are only 88 pages, with every creature on every page an adult. Even those on the pages labeled Master Belmos 1 and 2. When I click the forward button after Belmos 2, it takes me to Mine 1.

Maybe I'm missing something or don't understand this 'gold mining' thing, but there doesn't seem to be any page with eggs that need clicking...and I can only assume that Mining means clicking eggs to get gold. Sorry if I come across like a doofus (but I am, to be honest! LOL).

Also, I can't really tell if my request to join IFGM is getting bounced back, but considering I don't have to join to use it, maybe it's a moot point? Anyway...

There are over 300K in links in the IFN, spread over 88 pages. They are mostly adult creatures, but the images (hence the name Image Free Goldmine) have been replaced with a diamond shape. So all the little diamonds are the links to click.

The owner of the site, Tinni, passed away a couple of years ago, so the Master Belmos pages are always blank as there is no one with access to add his creatures to the mine.

The IFN (Image Free Nursery) is the same way. The images of the eggs and hatchlings have been replaced with the little diamond shape.

If you're not seeing the blocks of little diamonds, then try refreshing/reloading the page. Sometimes it doesn't load properly. Also, which browser are you using to view the mine? I use and older version of Opera, as mining works better in it than in Chrome or FireFox.

Hello! I been playing For 4 to 5 years and have an important Question.... Since I been playing I haven't been able to do events that I notice on other people pages... Are they random or is there a place I can go to.

I assume you mean the little badges?
There's seasonal events(Anniversary(in May), Halloween and Christmas, and occasionally Valentines) which all tend to give badges for participating in the event (usually the gifting aspect).
The other events were special things, usually with some kind of quest attached, but they've all since ended.
There is one you can still do and obtain. The token that looks like a fang is awarded when you complete the quest that allows you access to the Black Market (the quest however is only available when the BM is around).

Also if you haver over a badge it'll tell you how it was obtained.
