I am looking for some help on how to get a picture post in the forum. I have two links if pictures I want in a Roleplaying post I am doing and I can not figure out how to get a actual picture in it to show up. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

You need to use the url enclosed in the [.img][./img] tags. (delete the added periods.)

Where are you drying to add the images from?

Also you need to make sure it's the link to the actual image rather than like, the page the image is on, so the link should end in something like .jpg .png .gif

So this image link wouldn't work but this one would (you can get it by right clicking and selecting 'copy image location'

I am trying to get off of Pinterest. It gives me a link there.
I did add the img but it still did not work for me.

Like I said, you need the direct link to the image, rather than the page, it has to end in something like .jpg some kind of picture file.
So for example, say I want to post this image from pintrest- https://tr.pinterest.com/pin/853924779322819671/

If I put that url into the img tags it'll look, like this

As you can see, broken. Won't post. It's just the word 'Image'

However, if I right click and select 'copy image location' (or select 'view image' then copy what's in the url bar) I get this url,
https://i.pinimg.com/564x/0e/90/7b/0e90 ... 440db8.jpg
(notice how it ends in .jpg, this means it is the IMAGE url rather than url for the page the image appears on) which I then put between the img tags and get, this




The image tags are found by clicking this icon->
