so i had 5 eggs but caved and got a donation one, shocked it let me take one. then a frog baby came up in the stream and i had to have a precious frog...soi tossed out one of my "unwanted" eggs to snag it. only to find i can't get it....someone please explain to the newbie why i cant take the pretty frog egg....

If I remember correctly, before the egg limit changed, you could get 4 SB eggs and 2 Donation ones (There are only 6 eggs slots. 4 reserved for SB/Bred creatures and 2 for Donation Pets). Now that the SB/bred egg limit is 5, I would expect that you would still have 2 Donation egg slots. Perhaps it was just a glitch that caused you're inability to get the frog egg.

You can get 5 eggs, and in addition to those five you can get two more if the two are donation pet eggs. That's why you couldn't get the frog: even though you had frozen one egg you still had a total of 5 unfrozen eggs when you tried to take it, and non-donation pets can't be gotten when one already has 5 eggs.

Curious to know....when did the egg limit change? I had no idea....just found out from reading around.
