Clicking on my creatures, but no progress?! :(

Me and a friend of mine have been trying to click on my Ilikatal for the past 3 days with ZERO change in the percentage. I'm trying to freeze it as a low percentage hatchling so I'm only trying to have the both of us click on it. It registers us clicking on it in the recent clicks but does nothing????? I've been having this problem for about 3 months now and IDK why it's doing this.

And then there are the times when I click on it that it jumps ahead by TWENTY %! Like... what is going on with my Keep? QQ

And the thing is, I'm not the only one having this problem. My friend's Keep has the same problem. IDK about the 20% problem but they definitely have the 'you click on it, the percentage doesn't move' problem. :/

OH and before anyone asks.... NO OUR EGGS ARE NOT FROZEN. XD Thought I'd get that out of the way before someone asked. I also don't have the gold to even buy the scrolls that prevent people from clicking your eggs/hatchlings and it gaining progress. My friend has the gold but they have never bought the scroll.

You can only click your eggs once every 12 hours (I think that's what it is), so if it hasn't been that long the egg won't gain any progress from you.

As far as the random high percentage jump on a creature, if it is the first click on a creature in an extended period of time (not sure how long) it will gain a large amount of growth, but then clicks after that will have the normal growth.

Entire days go by and no percentage progress on the creature occur. It is a random occurrence but it is rather aggravating especially when the egg is close to hatching. T_T

Also, thank you for that clear up on the 20% jump. :3 I didn't know that happens.

This is apparently still a thing that's happening with me. Let me show you a screenshot of what I mean. XD

You'll clearly see that it says I clicked it, but there is literally 0 progress on the percentage still. And yes, I refreshed the screen multiple times to make certain after seeing it hadn't made progress before anyone asks.
(Warning: Placed in a spoiler because I forgot to make the image smaller XD)

That's really an odd thing. I saw, that you clicked it, but 0%. I clicked it, and now it has a low %. O.o

Yes. This is what me and my friend have been experiencing. We're not very active but we love the creatures here so we mostly use twitter and each other to hatch our eggs... but sometimes when we ask each other to click if the creature is close to hatching, the clicks don't count, like in the image, even if we haven't clicked for days on it. IDK if it's a bug or not, but I figured I'd bring it to the admins' attentions. :3

I've had this problem too. I had a weird glitch during the Halloween event where it kept telling me that eggs were grabbed before me, so I would grab a new one instead. But when I went to my Keep it had actually given me all of the eggs anyway. So I got a glitch and had like 7 eggs. No progress for days, so I got rid of my extra eggs to have just 5. It worked for a while, but now yesterday I tried SEVERAL times and got no progress, not even late at night. And now no progress this morning either. This site isn't the best honestly and I'm about to leave.

It's a weird glitch. During the Halloween event, I had this issue with a couple of eggs for the first time. Some didn't get the initial boost and/or gained no progress when I clicked, but I boosted them on Twitter to make up for it. I put them in the IFN and click threads and they hatched normally, though.

The limit was raised to 6 during the Halloween event. There was a day and a half where there was stream lag/freezing that resulted in the extra eggs glitch, but it was fixed pretty quickly. Are you relying on your own clicks only to grow your creatures? If you drop off your creatures in the IFN (http://magi-ifn.net/add.php), it speeds up creature growth by a lot ^_^

If you read my OP and when I made this topic, we were having this glitch long before the Halloween event. Like I said, this is a bug that's been giving me and Shadie both problems even when there aren't events going on. I'm kind of just trying to bring it to the admin's attention at this point though I know a lot of people aren't watching and checking to see if their egg or someone else's egg makes progress when they click to know if it's only affecting a few players or everyone. XD Only someone as casual as myself or just someone very thorough would probably catch this glitch.

Btw, @ZenWen, I'm sorry to hear that! :t-:( I've found this site doing pretty well. However, since they removed the ability to post your creatures to Facebook to grow it, I've found things like progression and egg catching getting more and more glitch-y. Nothing that can't be worked through, but pretty glitch-y nonetheless. XD
