Scroll for inbreeding prevention?

It's probably been mentioned before more than once, but it would be awesome if we could buy a scroll that when active makes inbreeding creatures impossible and throws up an error message of some sort.

I wonder how that would work? Would it simply stop the breeding of two related creatures, or would it prevent the breeding of an already inbred creature to an unrelated creature?

That would actually be useful as well. I suppose it would need some sort of off/on switch if possible though in case people do want to inbreed their creatures at some point.

I get so frazzled sometimes trying to breed some of the hybrids that need to be 2nd or 3rd gen and such a scroll would be immensely helpful.

Perhaps it could just, not show related creatures as potential breeding partners?
Like, if I select one of my Cervinus Deer for breeding, then its offspring and/or parents won't show up under the list of potential mates, thus preventing any inbreeding from happening.

I love this idea - have a trade where I have stashed accidentally inbred kirins....would be a huge help. :yey:

That would make more sense to me. Several of my lineages have inbred creatures in them. They're only considered inbred because their parents are inbred, because I didn't catch it before I bred them. If the scroll stopped them from breeding, then I couldn't continue the lineage. But, if it kept related creatures off the potential breeding partner list that would work wonderfully. Would also make it faster and easier for me to actually pair creatures in the lineages. :D I could just go to the "breed" page of the lineage member, choose a mate, record the numbers, add to my breeding spreadsheet, and boom! Done! :woo:
