Ok so I just managed to finish the quest to get the Mermaid. FINALLY. Took me ages to get those four eggs! Sheesh!

I have read I should be able to go back to the Keep and find a quest called 'Invitation' and go through that to join the Water guild. But. . .No such quest is showing up for me?? Did I miss something?

Are you already a member of any of the other societies? The quest won't show up if so. Other than that, I'm not sure. Even if you don't have the hatchlings/gold required, I think it's still supposed to show up. Here's the Wiki Walkthrough on that particular quest, if you haven't seen it yet.

Is there somewhere we can look what quests are active? But then, even if I clicked on it already by accident, I should be able to go back and see what's needed, right?

Ok. I figured out what *MIGHT* be the problem. I started (without knowing what I was doing. -.- ) The Hidden Path, which is apparently the quest for the Herbalist Guild. It is NOT finished, however.

Is there a way to cancel a quest?

I don't think there is a way to cancel a quest meaning you have to complete the quest for the herbalist guild. Then start the quest to leave the guild which takes I think 100k gold. I'll leave a link to the quest for you.

I forget all the eggs needed for the herbalist quest but I remember needing a moss snail egg since that's the one that gave me trouble the most in getting I have a breeding pair you can borrow to try and produce an egg if you have no luck with it in the stream.

Bah I am not happy about this. At all. I mean. . .100k gold? Who has that? I can barely make 20! *grumbles and falls over* Ok, yes, bit peevish. It's a hot day, what can I say?

Thank you for the offer. I actually DO have a breeding pair of the snails. I have been working on getting all the streamborns pairs and I'm *almost* there. (Well, there are some I'm not getting. I really don't care for the snakes, or most of the bugs and I'm leaving them. LOL)

Ok, so. . .this is weird. I have the herbalist quest *started* - but not completed. BUT. . .I can still change my mind and start the Dark Brotherhood quest to join THAT guild. So. . .why can't I change my mind and do the water-shop quest??? It makes sense - having the quest, but not having DONE it - that I could switch over and do the one I actually want. But why is one showing up and the other not? (Honestly, not sure which I prefer. I chose Water because I like more of the creatures there than the other two. Its hard choosing again when you already chose. )

Hrm. Nope. I cleared my cache and cleaned my browser in case it was a glitch in that area. No luck.

Then you've never looked in the how much gold do you have? thread. there are some with 200k and up. I don't know how they get it probably lots of rares creatures sold and being consistent in posting. Though I'm with you I can barely get the 20k.

lol No. I did start looking at that thread, got frustrated and stopped. I hate starting a new game and being crazy-behind everyone else. It gets better as I get rolling. But yeah. . .here. . .so far. . .not doing that great on the gold department. lol You're probably right that it's selling creatures. I'm not there yet, either. Even for selling more common ones, honestly.

Fairly sure it's the Dark brotherhood quest. I've already unlocked the Black Market. It's the quest "Secret Shop: Mysterious Business". Thats the Dark Brotherhood quest, yes?

Ok. I've decided to PM an admin. Maybe they can tell me if I'm bugged or if I somehow messed myself up. lol Once I find that out, I can decide which direction to go. I don't want to move now, until I am SURE I can't go the way I wanted to, lest I really mess things up!

Yeah, that's the dark brotherhood. So weird. I hope the admin can help so you can enter the guild you want.
