I'm wondering, if you get more creatures, will the egg limit go up? Or does it stay 5 forever? And does hatchlings count toward the limits?

the egg limit stays at 5. of course sometimes during special events they raise it to 6 like this past anniversary event but at the moment it's 5 eggs and will stay that way for now. the only exception is donation creatures where you're allowed to have 2 donation eggs + 5 regular creatures for a total of 7 creatures.

as it's called egg count only eggs count towards it so you can have as many hatchlings as you want.

And it only counts live eggs, you can have as many frozen ones as you want

You don't have to release the frozen eggs. Some users buy them, others send them to Master Belmos and his helper NurseryHelper to unfreeze eggs and hatchlings and also remove the names of all creatures you send, then find a new home for them.

Ooo! But how do I know how much each frozen eggs are worth?

Belmos and Nursery Helper do not pay for frozen eggs....and most frozen SB eggs aren't worth much at all.
