Sort by ID?
Does anyone know of a script that will sort a tab by creature ID number and/or birthday?

Re: Sort by ID?
If you move a bunch of creatures into a trade at the same time, then they will sort by creature number, but they have to be moved into the trade at the same time. I don't know about tabs, though. But the trade trick works if you're searching for a specific birthday among a ton of critters.

Re: Sort by ID?
Default sort uses the creature ID number which matches the order you see in the Bestiary). There isn't a sort by date tho.
I am in the process of moving house, so I will not be around much for the foreseeable future.

Re: Sort by ID?
The only problem with the trade trick is, say, moving live hatchies. If you add them to a trade and then remove them, they go back to the main keep instead of whichever tab you moved them from. I'm always afraid people will click before I can hide them again. (Though maybe that's only the case if you actually save the trade vs adding and then canceling before saving? I shall test this!)NyxNoire wrote:If you move a bunch of creatures into a trade at the same time, then they will sort by creature number, but they have to be moved into the trade at the same time. And sorry if I posted in the wrong place. I went with Community Discussion since a lot of people used to post scripts and I thought that crowd might know of something.
ETA: Nope. The only way to keep the critters in the trade is to save it, which still leaves me with the dropping-back-in-Main Keep issue, sadly.
Does it? Mine seems to default by creature order (like in the Bestiary) and then %. What I'm looking for is a way to sort by specific creature ID number: 10413332, 10413333, 10413334, etc. I'm probably explaining it horribly.CinnaminDraconna wrote:Default sort uses the creature ID number which matches the order you see in the Bestiary). Thank you both for replying!
