Hi! I'm fairly new here. . .I *joined* ages ago, but never actually DID anything. (I think I had clicked one egg or something. Yay?) Anyway, more recently I've logged in and have become minorly obsessed with collecting all the creatures - or, at least building a collection that I can enjoy. However, its come with some questions.

1. How do I make gold?
--I understand that you can get gold from posting. Yeah. Problem is, I'm not that much into talking. (And when I start, it's hard to shut up until I exhaust myself. Which doesn't take that long, really.)
--I keep hearing about 'gold mining'. I sort of get it. I can click on other people's eggs/hatchlings and each one gets me 1 gold. But. . .what I'm NOT clear on is the 'gold mining' I'm hearing about that refers to tabs people use with adult creatures. How does this work??

2. Quests
Well, I FINALLY found these. Took me awhile! But I am curious as to how one does them when the called for eggs/creatures take up you egg slots. Or are they meant to take awhile? I'm still working on my first - collecting 3 eggs. But I have to work up the gold to purchase the third egg. pfft.

3. Shops
I keep seeing reference to the 'herbal shop', or the 'water shop', etc. Yet only three shops (including the donation shop) show up under the shops tab. Am I missing something?

So far I am enjoying the site. My only major complaint is the egg limit. SO annoying to only be able to have 5 at a time. Especially when some of them take sooo long to get hatched. Pfft. Suppose that's pretty good, though. Only one real complaint.

There are three ways to make gold on Magistream; sell creatures or services, make posts, and click creatures. (you can make 5 gold per egg you click instead of the usual 1 if you buy the Alicanto heart in the Artificer Shop, but you need to do this quest in order to have access)

Gold mining is helpful for use in the click threads (there are three of them here, or for use in actual gold mines like this one. The use of tabs people are referring to are extensions on web browsers like Snaplinks or Linkclump. I use Linkclump on Chrome. You basically click and drag and it will open many tabs with one click, you can click way more creatures way faster.

Yep. There's no way to speed this up aside from just normally growing your creatures.

There are quests to join these organizations, which have their own shops. You must finish a quest to join them. You can only be part of one of them at a time (not including the Artificer or Black Market, you can be part of both of those plus one of Dark/Herb/Water).

I hope this all made sense!

As for growing your creatures, there's Twitter, Yarolds, the Image-Free Nursery, and the Pet Hatchery. There are also the three click threads in Reindeer Games, which can be a little slow, but will be moving more quickly right now while the Magiversary is going on. (There's also the daycare threads in Daycare, but I haven't posted there recently enough to know which ones are actually active.)

I've started working my way through quests (a bit slow since the egg pool is a little odd at the moment. May have to just sit back and wait till that passes. lol Bad timing on my part!) and am going to work on getting more gold. I have not figured out how to sell creatures yet. (Though, I probably don't have any that are worth selling yet anyway. Mostly been snagging eggs from the stream and getting pairs of those.) Eventually, maybe.

Thank you, I AM using the Image-Free nursery. I think that's the only reason I've made any progress at all. It's really helped to have a place to dump my eggs - and be able to help others while I'm at it.

All in all - I like how NOT stressful this is. I can do stuff or not as I have time and energy. Phew. More games need to be this relaxed.
