Kinda like if you have hoverzoom and hover over an egg in the stream. I should figure out how to disable that.
Does that mean there's something I can fix in the snaplinks/linkclump settings? :orly:

Also, he's using what is called Mac Address Filtering. It doesn't use IP addresses - it uses a very special hardware address unique to your device ;)
No, and yes. I've been thinking of making a raspberry pie, but have no idea what Raspberry Pi in computer language is. :P

And, Okay :orly: I have no idea. Just that it won't let you online without the numbers associated with your device being in the router. :t-shrug: Which is why he does that. XD

I particularly asked about the Raspberry Pi for a frame of reference :) It's a very small, dirt cheap computer.
As far as Mac Address Filtering - it's a very good idea if only a few very specific people use the Wi-Fi. Much more secure. Plus, saves your bandwidth from the bandwidth bandits. D:

My thought was that it was possible that a proxy / DNS filter was at fault since it doesn't appear to be corruption.

If it's a pre-loading issue, what about using LinkClump instead of Snaplinks? At least to test it? I haven't ever had an issue with LinkClump triggering the logout issue... but I do remember a very, very long time ago having an issue with SnapLinks too. Back before I knew anything about computers.

Using LinkClump now, still will log me out occasionally. Doesn't explain the logging out when navigating to like the IFN, and then back though. It's even logging me out when I try to do trades now.

In my sale thread, when I get an order, I always right click the trade link under the customer's avatar, and open it in a new tab so I can keep their order open to add things. Especially if it is a big order. Up until the recent site updates (correlation does not equal causation, just none of this was happening until recent changes, and I haven't made any changes), I never had a problem opening the trade in a new tab, now, it logs me out every time.

I just remembered something.. I used to have this issue all the time. When you use the IFN or another link site, do you have MS open in another window/tab? Because I discovered that not only will you get logged out, but you won't get gold either.. UNLESS you leave MS open in it's own tab/window.
I am in the process of moving house, so I will not be around much for the foreseeable future.

I have two MS tabs open at all times. Mostly because I'm trying to finish my breeding links spreadsheet. So I have one tab with whatever set of breeding pairs I'm getting the links for up, and one tab that I'm posting/playing in up.

Drat, wish that had helped. I know how frustrating this issue can be, but I can't think of anything else that hasn't already been tried/mentioned.

On this dinoputer, I've tried letting my grandson have his Keep open in IE while I use Firefox. (The only browsers this thing can handle!) and even with a logged in tab, he can't mine in the pet hatchery because it logs each new window out as he clicks. The only way to do the click threads is to right click the creatures, bring up in new window, and close each one before clicking the next. lol
Feel free to click my entire keep. Anything I don't want to grow is protected.

See, until recently, I've never had a problem using snaplinks/linkclump in chrome. Though I mine in Opera, and there's no problems there. When I do click the click threads I do it in Chrome, the same as I play in. Now it's logging me out, and I have a screaming awesome computer, otherwise I wouldn't be able to mine.
