Did I seriously miss this for this long or is it new? Is it a bug?

If you open a gift when you are egglocked, then you can exceed the egg limit.

No gift, I plucked one out of the stream forgetting that I had just bred a couple creatures, froze it, double checked and I can def have five eggs (if I try for six it tells me I can't have more than five eggs). I'm sticking with four just in case this isn't a new feature...

Looks like the limit got increased for some mysterious reason, I just bought 5 non-doni eggs without any problems. No idea when did it change, haven't had any eggs for a couple of days

Perhaps something related to valentines?

I'm just surprised there's nothing in the news about it

Could be. I *really* hope the change is permanent though, we have so many species and being limited to 4 eggs at a time is painful

I think this was just added today, as we still had the 4 egg limit last night. I'm also hoping it's permanent.

I noticed it to! When I click another stream egg, it says the limit is now 5 eggs!
Hope it's permanent too!

Madd made these changes as a surprise to us all, so having 5 live eggs is now allowed.

The new stuff might get a few tweaks once Madd and Rosehill see how it all works out.
