Foenaran Nimbii types?

I finally got a Foenaran Nimbii from the Grass Forest! I see that they can be fish or turtle, grey or red.

Is it random what you get? Or do they change depending on time of day or something?

Mine isn't grown yet, but I would love to know about the different forms.

Mostly I was wondering if they changed by time or day or gender or what.

Changes throughout the day. In order (EST times): Midnight-6AM, 6AM-Noon, Noon-6PM, 6PM-midnight
